I didn't miss out, but I did choose not to bother getting one. I only have a small garden and already have a 210litre water butt... thats plenty for me.
Seemed like a very good deal though, have B&Q pulled the same trick with that then?0 -

I've been following this thread and the one about the water butts over on HUKD.
Just wondered why your account is listed as banned over there? Are we not allowed to talk about this kind of thing there?! Seems a little odd.
I'm considering following up the bargain loss with the water butts as we've all had letters stating that they are out of stock. The same as in the dishwasher case. I can't see any difference really except for the sums of money involved. Do you think we have a reasonable chance?
