The B&Q site is back up and the water butt is still there if you want to order one.

Does payment need to have been taken? I ordered 2 but my order was cancelled a week or so later. But no money was taken.

Bailey - proceed as normal. payment is taken to allow the order to go through but the transaction can be reversed the following day. ever hired a car and put through a deposit but not seen it come off the account whilst on holiday?

payment was taken (to confirm the order) but i am assming you used a credit card and as it takes a few days longer to show up, the payment was reversed.

as long as you did your side of the bargain, i.e. pay - then you have nothing to fear.
Nobody should be writing to say that no payment was taken as it was. try buying something off the B&Q site with the wrong card number.

This weds (25th) marks 2 weeks since the court victory and I am assuming that in the days following, many letters were sent to B&Q.

Next week I am going to make available the wording you should use for the moneyclaim.

In the meantime, has anyone had anything from B&Q in reply to their letter. You can PM me in private if you wish.

    Good luck all.

    Hi Beckett,
I've just dug out the Garden Rooms B&Q thread
I wonder how that would have gone ????

I would imagine they have lost as well under the same principle.
