Tesco - Parent/Child + disabled car spaces

Why do all these people want to take the car seats out these days?
And do they only ever go to car parks where there are P&C spaces? If not, however do they manage?0 -
... simply park in the middle of two 'normal' bays.
Loads of space that way. I do it all the time...it's brill! Easy to open doors fully and loading the bags is a doddle.
Do you do this in authority-run car parks too? Or do you manage in a normal space? Or, even, do you have to avoid those kinds of car parks altogether?0 -

Don't be silly, I'm not that stupid.
If I did that I'd end up with a ticket [actually enforceable....but there's a simple way around that too...lol]
So, in summary I only do it where I can do so without being slapped with a proper ticket.0 -

Maybe that's how some naughty people view P&C spaces too?0 -
When I visit my local Sainsburys, Asda & Tesco (depends whos got the deals on) I can always guarantee that I will have to park in a smaller space because some ....head has parked in the P&C space so he can nip to the cashpoint, conveniently located next to spaces (Sainsburys) or someone with no kids on board has parked up (but car seat on show and sun shade on window) or a disabled ticket driver has had to take a space because of the above people and other t......
I Would not care where the space was in a car park as long as it was wide enough.0 -

At the risk of repeating myself...
Don't be totally conformist; stand up for yourself and your child.
Do not lie down and simply accept a 'tiny normal spot' - simply park in the middle of two 'normal' bays.

When my oldest daughter was still a baby, about 6 years ago, I used to go my local Morrisons to do the weekly shop each Saturday morning. At the time there were a small number of P&C spaces. These were a godsend as at the time I had a three door hatchback which had a passenger side airbag so the baby seat had to go in the back. Getting in and out of the back seat to check that that the baby seat was properly secured was difficult at best and impossible if I couldn't open the door as wide as it would go.
Anyway some clever so and so decided to redo the layout of the car park and all the P&C spaces disappeared. I had no choice but to switch to Asda which was a bit further away but did have P&C spaces. Although my daughter is now seven I've stuck with Asda ever since. I would guess that over the course of those six years Morrisons has lost somewhere in the region of £18,000 - £20,000 worth of sales to Asda.
So in answer to the question - Yes, some parents do only use carparks with P&C spaces, and some businesses are paying the price for this. The fridge is empty, the walls are damp, there's no hot water
And I look like a tramp and tramps like us

My local Sainsbury's now has £50 fines for people who park in the P&C spaces which, as if the spaces were not liberty enough, is a real cheek. I have never parked in a P&C space although I vehemently disagree with them.
I am tempted to start and stick two fingers up to Town and Country who will be issuing the "fines"."There's no such thing as Macra. Macra do not exist."
"I could play all day in my Green Cathedral".
"The Centuries that divide me shall be undone."
"A dream? Really, Doctor. You'll be consulting the entrails of a sheep next. "0 -
Glad to see you said "fines". Perhaps you could make some little notes to slip under the wipers of any of T&C's victims, just to let them know they are not fines?0
