  • It's just getting better & better...looking forward to hearing how that goes down on Sunday. :D

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
DD saw fit to check on Jasper this evening (incase he needed anymore grass) so didn't get a chance to find a suitable replacement in time to stop the discovery that in fact he has gone to Woodlouse heaven :(
DS looked for another woodlouse in garden but no luck - all is not lost however as DD has found a worm! :rotfl:

Oh GB... you have me in stitches... please keep us updated! Perhaps if Willy the Worm goes to worm heaven before Sunday your children could look for a slug!

Are you guys catering the party yourselves? -would it be thought rude to ask for a kids party food equivalent of 'bring a bottle' ?

I like to get a present that roughly matches the costs they have spent on my son, but these play warehouse parties are over a tenner a head!

Not around here they're not. I pay about £7.50 per head. And for DD's party this year we shared with 3 others and including the cake it came to a grand total of £22 for each parent to pay! We only invited a handful of their close friends though, from the same class. I think there were about a dozen altogether. And then the following weekend I took some of my friends and their children there and paid for them to get in, but it wasn't a party as such that time, although still quite expensive as it's got a dry ice rink and play place combined which is £6.50.

And it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end
