Good Morning everyone. Thats the best sleep Ive had for a while. I didnt wake up till 9am. Have not done much as I have a bad back. I was just walking along when I got a severe pain right across the small of my back. Easing off now Im glad to say. DD is on her way for a cuppa. Ive been out to the veg shop and thats all I need. Plans for today are to do the spare room. Sort out what Im wearing for a wedding tomorrow. Which means trying on various pairs of black trousers to see which ones fit. DD said that mum was fine after I left yesterday.

today's lady said that some help has been arranged for housework through the week - a couple of hours I think and I pay for that.

make sure you have the lists printed off, ready to shove into their hands as they walk through the door :rotfl::rotfl: oh... and if you're paying for it, insist on a Level 3 clean!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Most of you seem upbeat and chirpy today, with or without the sun and thats nice to see!

Today Im having a bit of a lazy day. Having worked hard all week, the house is "ok"
Have decided to make tomato soup for OH to take to work tomorrow but can't find the bookmarked link for the recipe I'd used ages ago, which is frustrating  Time to spend some time with Mr Google I think! Although I always get distracted reading recipes and will probably end up making something completely different! Got to put the chicken into roast in a while. Was planning to make it into chicken wraps for me & the kids tonight, but Asda have called and said my order might be late due to the van having to come through Salisbury. Apparently the traffic is horrendous there today because its the Summer Solstice and all the hippies have desended on Stonehenge. I hope they're not too late, I have NOTHING else left in the fridge/freezer/cupboards!!!!

Anyone have any ideas as to what I could do with a couple of tins of cannellini beans that I bought for some long forgotten reason? I'd prefer recipe ideas, rather than rude suggestions!!! :o:o:rotfl:

have a lovely day all (and remember, the sun shines on the righteous!!:A :rotfl::rotfl:
:rotfl:If you have made someone laugh today... check your skirt isn't tucked into your knickers!!!:rotfl:
    Mrs B you're a legend.

Hex ((big hugs)) you 'sound' tired honey, I am sure if he's a best friend he will understand things aren't easy at the minute
LilySue pleased to hear you feel better. At 15 I worked part time cleaning rooms in a hotel and babysitting, to fund things like that. I remember being told France trip with school or bike for my BIRTHDAY and I chose the bike. I am feeling the pinch now at 8 as I've spent over £100 on trips for cubs and school this month.
boddy hope the back eases off soon
soappie hope you enjoy the hunt :)

***RANT ALERT*** Well I am completely ****ed off. Went to tutorial, waited 15 minutes noone else there so text tutor, waited another 5 and phoned the number - no answer, waited another 10 and called her landline to be told she's in Oxford! !!!!!!! Anyway student support called, I lost it slightly but didn't swear/shout! I've been told to issue a complaint to the Regional centre when they are open on Monday. Same tutor who has previously ignored contact, cancelled all other tutorials etc. Really annoyed as I have assignments due so could have done without that waste of my time! She has even emailed this week to apologise for the delay in marking the MAY assignments which we still have not got back, but didn't mention cancelling the tutorial. ***RANT OVER***

Oh, went to the pharmacy on way back to get something for what I think is Athlete's Foot. I asked the pharmacy dispenser person if he recommended Lamisil ONCE, he handed me the box for that (£10) and the 'normal' one which was reduced to £1 and pointed to the active ingredients. IDENTICAL! He said the only difference is the instructions which say to use it once, just a blatent marketing thing....so I bought the £1 ones of course!

Off to supervise a discussion between DP and DS1, he's really got no idea how to talk to him so I am about to switch his Playstation off so he can talk to him properly. I do wonder who is the most Autistic, him or the boys!
One day I might be more organised...........

And a question for other mothers of fifteen year olds, or just anybody, I need all the help I can get. Do you think fifteen is the worst age, because I'm beginning to think it is....ds2 who is at that magic age has just told me that all his friends think I am a mean parent because I have ONLY paid for a school trip to Poland as his birthday present....this trip to Poland is costing £225.....and because we are so mean and did not buy him a brand new bicycle as well ( offered him either the trip or the bike, he chose the trip) he cannot get a job, has no social life and hates his whole life...and guess what it is all my fault..............................

Okay feeling slightly better already, mean because I don't normally rant about my children online, but he has this unique ability to make me a very calm woman feel like tearing my hair out...........did someon mention vodka???

My ex is getting all reasonable (finally) I had to pay £60+ for dance exams and he gave me an extra £30 towards them and took the kids to Meadowhall last Sat (when it was lovely) and bought goodies...and clothes for them***picked self up off floor as collapsed in shock obviously*** clearly having his needs met IYSWIM...
Mind you it will have been good for DS as he had bad hayfever last weekend so needed not to be outdoors...

Hex - hugs hun, why not just tidy the one room you are going to sit in and get the wine/beer ready, the rest of the house can wait. Well done for prioritizing to take the boys to the fair.
