    Morning all

Soappie enjoy the great beef hunt - for some reason it reminds me of those batty women who used to go around on a motorbike with sidecar - sorry made me smile

Just going to have a shower and then out to do some chores/bits in town with DS1 aka the DoDo.

DH already out and at footie with DS3 and is taking him to the cinema to see monsters and aliens this afternoon (only £1.25 each so good deal).

Flying plan - I will finish our bedroom and DS2's today and hope to get an hour in the garden aswell.

    Best shift!

Oddjob - how the devil are you?

Rosep - you OK love? If you're a bit light headed, try drinking some water xx

My extensive research into ruby red devon cattle outlets has shown that we may not need to go all the way to Devon at all. There's a farm shop about half an hour away that says it sells it. We shall go there first I think. If our mission is successful, we can then go and walk around the grounds of the stately home nearby. It'll save sooo much petrol!

Have also just taken delivery of a book I bought from ebay so I'm going to get dressed (I have bathed!) and settle down to read it.

Just discovered that I forgot to take my tablets yesterday, that explains a lot of the wooooohoooooeeeeoooo feeling. It's quite good actually, but I've sobered up a bit now. I've stopped giggling for absolutely no reason anyway. I always take them after breakfast, it must be about a year since I last forgot

    Sorry everyone, especially Dusty

Morning everyone :j I've been up since 9am but haven't done much..lol. Still that is the story of my life at the moment, so what's new..hehehe.

Oh wait I have rung up Medion to chase these discs for the lappy reformat. Apparently they have to be formatted to the specific laptop, or something like that. Anyway the order has been done and they are now earmarked for despatch on Monday so all being well they should be with me Tuesday/Wednesday morning. So I have to be up straight next week with bits and bobs so that I can sit down and reformat the lappy..ugh!! Not a job I am looking forward to as I have to burn bits on discs today so that I haven't lost important bits. But then I'm not that bothered if I do lose stuff as losing my phone this week has proved..I had some photos on there of mums rose in bud, stupid me forgot to download it, and it is lost now. But hey it is only a photo, I have the real thing in the garden (the rose bush not mum, although some of her ashes are under the rose!) I think I am learning that some things are not as important as others by the amount of things I keep losing..eg music, pictures etc.. Ooooh maybe I am becoming non materialistic - nope think that would be going too far..lol:rotfl:

Now I am going to have a shower and get dressed while DH is out with the boys. They were both bouncing around (dogs not DH!) so I think they were eager to go out..lol It will be a shock to their systems next week when DH goes back to work and they aren't having their long morning walk, just back to half hour at 9pm by DH. Shame!!

    Oddjob welcome back :)

Rose what on earth are you on honey, have you been at the sherry this early..lol. Mmm a dream about Rav Wilding now that is my kind of dream, if it included Richard Armitage as well I wouldn't want to wake up..:rotfl:

Morning Toots, hope you relax today, or as much as you can. No energetic stuff for you..

Have a mountain of ironing I really want to clear, yep it's that darn storage box load. It is spilling out of it now, how the heck does it multiply so much when there is only me and DH I will never know. Oooh I have an idea maybe I should get another storage box and put DH's clothes in one and mine in t'other and then just iron all DH's in one go and mine in dribs and drabs. That way I will see who the culprit is for the breeding ironing

Soappie I hope the phone turns up and you haven't waited in for nothing. Mmmm ruby red beef sounds scrummy, don't think we have anything like that this way. Enjoy your trip to Devon. I must admit I had to ask how far Devon was from Southampton yesterday as I thought it was miles away and wondered how on earth you would do it in a day, but he informed me it was only about an hour and half drive away..silly me. Maybe I was still thinking it was the same length as when we go, it takes us something like 5 hours..

Hmmm why does it sound like my washing machine is leaking everytime it emptys, it isn't it's just that it bubbles back up into the sink sometimes and I'm not used to it being plumbed in properly. Ooops that sounds terrible doesn't it..no seriously when it was where we had it before the kitchen was done, the hose just looped into a pipe that travelled half way round the kitchen to get to the waste pipe, now it is plumbed in properly under the sink it sounds really strange. I will get used to it I image..lol

Ok off to shower before Dh gets back and starts grumbling..lol

    Oddjob  hi welcome back

Rose:- go and take tablets and plenty of water, and sit or lie down for a bit, do NOT do any ironing or cooking whilst you are feeling like this.

Toots all lists done!, been up since 6am and every where is blitzed, just waiting for wm, load 2 is in, load one is on line, but is it clouding up here, might have to do the dash to grap it all back in again.

    Left to do:-
    Weed back flower bed.
    Ironing
    Clean car
Have a sleep (old foggey rights!!)

Lily~~ 15 sounds about right, my nephews were like that, blame everyone else and grunt, forget what his friends think of you, personally I think he is lucky to go anywhere at that price, I never went on any school trip, my mother could not afford it what so ever.

Morning everyone - after a busy couple of days with my self employed stuff the house is a pit. Shouldn't be because no one has been here, but never mind. A rare sighting of DH for the boys this morning before he went up to visit his critically ill Dad. He will be coming back with his best friend tonight so I need to clean and cook but I am shattered - havent done this much driving and hard work since I was pregnant with DS1. Why does everything happen at once? Not a rant at DH who is doing all he can to help when he is here - he made me have his lie in this morning even though he has another long tiring day today.

Anyway, time for an emergency clean up. 15 minutes each room I think, must sort out some music.

Must also find out what time the school fair is today, go to the farm shop for meat for tomorrow, order a Mr S delivery for Wednesday or we wont be eating next week, and fuss neglected kitten who has been on his own for 10 hours a day. Get the boys dressed and make sure suits and uniforms are washed for Monday. Breathe. Buy some wine for tonight. Get something out of the freezer that doesn't require huge amounts of effort, that I can eat without ruining my diet but that maintains my reputation as a reasonable cook. Breathe some more.

Hi OJK, good to see you back.
Serena - Hello! I ended up with so much work that I didn't go to Gardeners World Live yet again and I haven't done any weeding for weeks now . Not looking likley for this weekend either.

Right, sitting here with a purring kitten is lovely but it isn't actually getting anything done.

Deep breath, and off I go. HHC 10.45 - 11.15 anyone?

Mudbath - Ben steals anything that is left in the veg rack, so yes Strawberries, apples, carrots, etc all get munched. I had to buy storage bags from Betterware just to stop him so he is now chewing (and apparently eating) his plastic lunchbowl instead.
