    Evening all

I'm tired, I've had a hectic day, it's been DD(5) birthday today. So last night we baked a cake (cinderella) & made the cards (me & oh).

As I have a ds(3) in the same class (nursery & reception mixed), I agreed with teacher to allow dd to come home at 11.30 as well. Before I picked them up I'd iced her cake which took longer than I thought (1hr10mins), but it looked great and she loved it :j. I flied over the kitchen, dining & front room while OH made the pizza base, I had to go early as it's sing along and dd was upset because one of the other teachers didn't know she was leaving early and told her that she had to go with the older children for story time, I came and she was in tears, it took until they sang happy birthday at the end for her to be fine.

I have hovered the dining room four times today, children are so messy!! I know four times is a bit much but if I don't hover they tread it into the carpet and it's a nightmare and prevention is better than a cure (can you tell I'm making excuses for my ocd behaviour here! lol)

anyway the house is clean, the kids are a sleep, pack lunches are done, clothes prepared, a happy day by all acounts - SO CAN I HAVE MY STAR FOR TODAY, PLEASE

I briefly read over the thread, so hugs to all who need them (still can't do multi quotes, but will try soon when less tired as it was explained early in thread). Nosey, nosey bit here but who is toxic? tell me to mind my own business if you please, toots, but I've been trying to second guessing who she is.

Anyway, goodnight and have a nice evening - I'm off to watch star trek with OH.

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Vanilla - how't things now, you exhausted earlier? Sorry to hear DH isn't great at the moment, hope you get his script sorted out very soon.

Soappie/Hex thanks for the suggestions but they do need to be round and made of solid chocolate, they are to replicate sports balls
