  • I've done a very bad job cooking dinner. I'm doing a burmese dish, where the main ingredient is soy sauce and we only had dried lemon grass and I put too much in so now it looks like chicken in a black sauce with loads of straw in it. Yum. Not. And I couldn't find one of the spices so have only just put that in now as DH returned my message to tell me where it is. I've now put it in the spices cupboard!

DH is really silly and has quite annoyed me tonight. He goes out to see a friend on Wednesday nights, but often cancels. Tonight he really should go to see this man, but he's been working late again, even tho he has nothing booked in for the next 2 days and could go and do what he couldn't finish tomorrow or Friday as it's only a job for his dad. But no, he's worked so late today that now he has to let his friend down again. I was not impressed, I really wish he would prioritise.
It didn't help that I was really down yesterday (still am today TBH) and he came home and ignored me all evening. He's obsessed with a computer game and came home and went straight on it and hardly spoke all evening, even tho he knew I was really low. He didn't even give me a hug until I asked for one at 11pm, after a long wait hoping he would give me one without having to ask.

I know he needs some relaxation after a long day at work, and I don't begrudge that, but I do object to being ignored all evening when I've been alone all day.

Sorry to moan, I will shut up now

When you are reading the thread there is a little new button beside the regular quote button, click on it in when you want to quote someone and it will turn red. When you then click reply all the messages you have clicked the multiquotes button on will appear in your reply box. Hope that makes sense.

I couldn't possibly divulge on such an open forum!

Well, believe it or believe it not, I have loads of space in my PM box :p:p:p

I enjoyed the TMC :T I met DD and 2 of her friends on my way home, and they revealed that as DD has a reputation for being laid back in gettting between lessons, they would speed her up with the theme to Benny Hill. She's never seen the footage that goes with it, so for the next TMC can we have this, please :D

Penny you are ever so nosey :rotfl: well done with the good deed by the way, many would just walk by
    vanilla ((hugs)) rosepink ((hugs))

My first ever single (vinyl) was AGADOO!!! :rotfl:

Well this is odd, DP sort of helped DS1 do his room (I have to do the clothes as he doesn't know how to put them away?) he only shouted twice when DS1 started screaming which he does when protesting, then made DS2s bed and sort of vacuumed his room.....now he's took the dog out as he said he can't do any more housework because his ankle hurts.....rather odd I do wonder if he read that or seen the steam coming out of my ears! Anyway greatful of what he has done, he never usually walks the dog so that is double odd. Utility has been scrubbed on hands and knees, all appliances cleaned, it sparkles!

Suppose I should go put DS1s clothes away, which have been away once then he dragged them out, then I will dust/vacuum his room
One day I might be more organised...........
