lil_me - doesn't get any better the older they get I'm afraid, DD1 is 19 and a lazy ar5e when she wants. Her pit - I mean her bedroom can be a disgrace then she has a sudden blitz and it's immaculate , she always says when I comment:
"Mum, you know you taught me how to clean really well and I can do it, but only when I want to!"
I just leave her door shut now and ignore it. She once left the ironing board and iron up in the kitchen, I managed to leave it there a week without blowing my top and she put it away. Kind of blew her mind that I didn't go crazy as I can be very an£l about mess and clutter.
Today I've:
sent letter to DH army pension for up to date statement
s/s kitchen
Aired and made bed
showered and got ready for work
Came home mid afternoon (out doing a house viewing at the time so took an extra 5 mins!) to put gammon joint in the oven
Peeled veg
Put garlic kievs and potato wedges in oven for DD1 and BF as she won't have gammon
Hope everyone well xTo love and be loved is the greatest happiness of existance - Sydney Smith0 -

Rant alert
Complete muck up at the chemist as for some reason the gp sent a script down for hubby but put twice the dose down, so the fella rang the gp who said go a head with it. (shocked)
Hubby told him that the dose was increased but not by that much. So they have to contact the other doctor before they will give the meds. Add that to hubby already not being well and the way his thinking is at the minute and it's just a load of stress.
I'm really starting to stuggle with it all to be honest. Hubby, kids, appointments, sorting the car and just being so run down myself.
Rant over
Right better start the livingroom and sort the kiddies out then get them to bed. Hubby's out tonight so think i'll get as much done as i can.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
I've done a very bad job cooking dinner. I'm doing a burmese dish, where the main ingredient is soy sauce and we only had dried lemon grass and I put too much in so now it looks like chicken in a black sauce with loads of straw in it. Yum. Not. And I couldn't find one of the spices so have only just put that in now as DH returned my message to tell me where it is. I've now put it in the spices cupboard!
DH is really silly and has quite annoyed me tonight. He goes out to see a friend on Wednesday nights, but often cancels. Tonight he really should go to see this man, but he's been working late again, even tho he has nothing booked in for the next 2 days and could go and do what he couldn't finish tomorrow or Friday as it's only a job for his dad. But no, he's worked so late today that now he has to let his friend down again. I was not impressed, I really wish he would prioritise.
It didn't help that I was really down yesterday (still am today TBH) and he came home and ignored me all evening. He's obsessed with a computer game and came home and went straight on it and hardly spoke all evening, even tho he knew I was really low. He didn't even give me a hug until I asked for one at 11pm, after a long wait hoping he would give me one without having to ask.
I know he needs some relaxation after a long day at work, and I don't begrudge that, but I do object to being ignored all evening when I've been alone all day.
Sorry to moan, I will shut up now

Oooerr missis  :rotfl:DD is doing her last GCSE exam as we speak, she seems much more chilled now & is looking for a summer job. It's her prom on Friday.
:T:T:T My DD finishes tomorrow, and I can't wait :j
Sorry, just trying out the multi-quote toy
Just got in from work. I came across a man who was extremely drunk, and wandering into the road, so stopped and called an ambulance (thought they sent 2 police vans  ). Thankfully, 2 other people stopped to give me moral support
Off to get my list, then I'll probably have a HHC afetr supper when the children have gone to Explorer Scouts

Going to go through my toiletries and chuck out anything that has been opened and not used in a while. Also have rehomed the 12 bottles of unopened fake tan i have to the daughter of one of my colleagues so must remember to put them in a bag tonight or i'll no doubt forget them in the morning!
Hope everyone is well, sorry haven't had a chance to catch up but big hugs and lots of *necessary vibes* as and where needed xx
