I've had a really nice morning today, went out with a friend to see a lady who wants to learn about the Bible, and I kept her little boy entertained while the other two were studying together, so that the mum could concentrate on the new things she was learning. He had one of those bubble things, so I spent the whole time blowing bubbles and he kept trying to catch them! It was fun!

I've actually discovered that I've done most of the LR list already! Very happy about that! It was such a mess on Monday that I did quite a bit of tidying, I hoovered the whole flat at once, and dusted round yesterday.

I'm very tired, so am going to rest as much as possible this afternoon, but will try to get a few bits done from my lists - you are right Toots, we need to make more of an effort

Flybaby, do you get a bit anaemic when AF is here? Perhaps you should speak to the doctor about it, as it could be that just by doing something really simple you could feel at lot better

Knowing me I'm worrying about something that won't happen.
Just put dinner in the oven - savoury crumble, a different recipe I found somewhere on here. I tried one before which wasn't very nice so I hope this is better. If not, then I give up on savoury crumble.
Yes polly honey I am sure you are worrying too much about your lovely doggy - take each day as it comes - she will be fine. Its really funny you talking about the savoury crumble - I had one in hospital and it was really nice - trouble is I cant remember what was in it - I did mean to ask the kitchens about it - they are quite good at explaining about someof their dishes. Let me know how you get on will you please?

I know I've said this before, but new flybabies do not try and play catch up. If you haven't done the day, then take it off your post. You are just beginning, and so concentrate on the one day at a time!! Do Level One, and if that went okay, then go for Level Two. Try adding one declutter mission to that. The room will come round again next week, and every week that you are on here it will get better, I promise.
I think the key is to have a clear idea of what a room is to be used for, remove everything that doesn't meet that criterion, and then fit the right storage for the things you need in there. Have I achieved that yet? No of course I haven't! I have a teenage DD who can buy stuff faster than I can declutter it!!
I totally agree with your there serena - thank you for posting that - I think we are all guilty of playing catch up when we would could easily forget the missing day and start afresh in the morning.

Ok lunch has been done - my HM soup is proving very useful - especially with the horrible weather - I havent got into salads yet! And stars are up to date.

so I am going to chill out for an hour and then do a little in the kitchen.
    back later
    toots xx

ETA hex your post was missed on the multi quote thingy and i wanted to say Tiger looks adorable - what fun and its lovely that the 2 youngsters are getting on so well - must make for a lively household - hopefully Tiger will keep puppy dog (was he called ben?) from getting into trouble with the hens! xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

ETA: DS2 just got his report card and it's glowing. He's still struggling with his reading and writing but has progressed a little. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can help him, books etc.? He is working on P1-3 work and he is in P5.
