Can't wait for bedtime, didn't sleep great last night and it is a clean bed linen day. Wonder when DH will get home, he has had a long day at work.

We have masses of strawberries again today so the kids have been spoilt with another victorian sandwich (home laid eggs from a neighbour) and heaps of strawberries.

Just going to have a flick around some other threads and then tidy up from the baking and set WM

Had a Bring Your Bear Day at school today and a lovely picnic with the whole of my department this afternoon. The children have been brilliant with their bears and I ended up saying Good morning / afternoon to 10 bears as well as the children at registration!!

Was going to plant out my tomatoes when I got home but - shock, horror!! - it's raining down here!! So I've been catching up with the papers and the post instead.

Toots - hope you have had a restful day today. Glad you're getting lots of support and that everyone seems nice. Continuing hugs and prayers for you x :A

GnB - well done on all your results :T

bevan - hugs; you to DayDreamBeliever

vanilla - hugs; hope it gets sorted

michelle - you are not letting the side down and you have done a lot of stuff today. You need time to sort yourself out too - hugs x

Valli - is the 1.5 hours because you work part-time? I'm never quite sure how they work out the PPA time  but that doesn't sound like much!

    mummyof5 - well done :T

Michelle ((hugs)) you're not letting the side down, just catching up on some much needed relaxing time.
Kaz my son does that and I do the same, he'll learn one day to do the homework when he gets it.
Oh it's ages since we've had strawberries Dusty, making my mouth water!

DS1s clothes now all away, dusted his room but will leave the vacuuming for tomorrow. I'm going to go in the shower and finish the bathroom while I dry off. I need to tidy toiletries, sort the magazines pile I noticed in there on the floor and clean the floor then it's done as I've already scrubbed the bath/shower screen/sink/loo which I will just need to wipe over :) Bother I need another swimming kit for DS1 too, he's now doing swimming 2 days in a row then of course tomorrow night too....can see us going through a huge amount of towels!
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Hi all. No flying again, but hugs for rosepink and anyone else who has husband-taking-for-granted issues. Men and women just don't think the same, though of course that's no excuse!

I had a rant at my OH over not pulling his weight.

We both have two jobs and work v long hours, plus he does a lot of the cooking, but he also makes half the mess but seems blind to about 99.9 per cent of it.

Sooo I suggested the quicker we got things done then the quicker we could, ahem, retire to the bedroom.

Oh bother...how do you work the multi quote thing? Have been merrily pressing the multi quote button thinking something would happen when I replied. Grrrr...

Anyway, the only thing I can remember to say is Dusty - I have one perfect strawberry! The rest are still growing. I'm very excited about it :D

Who was talking about lovely weather? I am soooo bored with the rain. I have got drenched the past 3 days

Time for my bed. My MACAW is to be in bed by 10 pm.

    Night night xx

I have also washed all the floors downstairs and degunged under the stairs, sorted out dog walking boots, washed all my living room ornaments..........shattered now. I dreamt last night my house was a pig sty and i woke up really upset!

So another star I think - the rest of the house can have level one on friday.

Click on it in when you want to quote someone and it will turn red. When you then click reply all the messages you have clicked the multiquotes button on will appear in your reply box. Hope that makes sense.

I answered this earlier in the thread, hope it makes sense! If not feel free to ask:D
