Sooo I suggested the quicker we got things done then the quicker we could, ahem, retire to the bedroom.

See that is where the poor things are at such a disadvantage, the slightest promise and they comply:rotfl:

We have masses of strawberries again today so the kids have been spoilt with another victorian sandwich (home laid eggs from a neighbour) and heaps of strawberries.

Mmm, I'm salivating at the thought of victoria sponge, might have to get some WW sponges so that I don't fall off the wagon and get a proper cake

Oh it's ages since we've had strawberries Dusty, making my mouth water!

LOL, I had to laugh at myself when I saw what you said Lil_me, you automatically honed in on the healthy stuff and I honed in on the cake! That could explain why I have 11 stone to lose!

I've washed up and S&S'd the kitchen. DH is in the bath and as he had promised to read an article about managing your time, I gave him that so he could keep his promise. He said he couldn't read it as it was upside down! :rotfl:

Evening all, sorry haven't been around lately - can I jump back in pretty please :)

I've been in a blackish place lately, mainly to do with mum, my past and starting aggressive councelling two weeks ago. I don't want to bring the thread down so won't go into it.. And this week I've got DH home on a weeks holiday from work..so my whole week has gone to pot..lol

I've not long come back from London, we went to see Calender Girls at Noel Cowards Theatre for our 20th wedding anniversary. OOooh if any of you get to see it you will absolutely adore it. I was in tears, laughing and then tears of laughter :D Such a fantastic play, and very nicely written I thought.

Tomorrow I have to reformat my lappy, hopefully, if the rescue discs come in the post in time. My poor lappy is playing up something rotten, it won't recognise the printer, my PDF files aren't opening plus various other things are going up the creek. So it's a total reformat..grrr!!! And then this morning when I went to charge my phone up I couldn't find the darn thing. It's now lost.. So I've had to get onto 3 and cancel the phone, and the sim card.. Luckily they are sending me a new phone tomorrow free of charge, and it's an upgrade from my one I lost. So I suppose there is an advantage to being on contract..lol ;)

Hope everyone is well, and hugs to those that need/want them. I'm sorry for being quiet as I said I have had some stuff going on that I have found hard to deal with..

Hugs Natty, I've been meaning to get in touch to see if you are ok but only remembered at times when I couldn't get to the laptop, like when driving or when pondering life before going to sleep! Feel free to PM me or get in touch on Facebook or Twitter, you know I understand a bit of what you are going through and will happily extend a listening ear any time you need one xx

DD1 was really pleased as the midwife commented how clean and tidy it was to say I have a 2 year old.:j:j

Thats all thanks to this thread and you wonderful people, couldnt do it without you all.:A:A
yes Mummy but you are the one doing the work - well done on the home visit - you should be well pleased.:T
Had a Bring Your Bear Day at school today and a lovely picnic with the whole of my department this afternoon. The children have been brilliant with their bears and I ended up saying Good morning / afternoon to 10 bears as well as the children at registration!!
ooh Froddy I am sooo jealous that nust have been a lovely day - what a nice idea.

michelle honey dont you dare think that you are letting the side down - you have always been aan inspiration and I think you cope really well - right now you are not 100% well so it will take time to sort yourself out - dont be so gard on yourself and take it steady - your lists for the next 2 days look very good but do the important bits from them first and if anything gets missed it DOESNT matter. huge ginormous squishy (((hugs)))
vanilla - take care of yourself honey - get rest - you have a lovely baby boy who needs his Mum to be ok to take care of him - I hope everything gets sorted out for DH.
Kazm I hope things are a bit better for you and Dh now - does he have a start date yet?
oooooooooooooooooooh Dusty thats done it - now i will have to find a way to get strawbs!!!

Another busy evening here with phone calls - catching up with family etc
Have also had the joiners in and they are going to collect and fit the doors for the kitchen and the lounge on Friday :D:D:D:D
The locksmith came and fitted the keysafe - another job done
My mate across the road arranged for a guy from his work to come and give me an estimate to get the garden tidy again - £20 - so cheap - (trim 3 hedges, edge and cut small lawn, weed 4 borders and large gravel area and put weedkiller on paths) maybe have to wait 10 days or so but at least I know it is going to be done.

off to update the stars and go to bed

hugs for everybody - I hope tomorrow is a better day for all those having a hard time too.

    sleep well
