Wooohooo that's right although I need to step up the dot to dotting if I am going to get there! *note to self not to pledge ANYTHING else as toots will file it and quote back at me*

It's not Toots - we've tried it for the first time today and it was absolutely horrendous and I've had to abandon it until next weekend. I pricked his finger twice and still couldn't get enough blood out to fill the circle on the paper. DS and DD were both absolutely distraught. We'll try again next weekend but I now need a new card and some more needles as I have to do 5 in one day - if I end up doing 2 pricks for each time I'm going to need loads but even when he was sobbing I still couldn't get enough blood to come out of his finger.
Aw Jue...poor DS (((hugs))) for you all xx
AnW'sMum - hope Miss A and W are ok today xx
The bathroom is almost done  I reserved a shower screen on line last night so it'll be ready for collection at 10 am.
Then DD, Mum, Dad and I are going to Glasgow Airport to collect my sister and her kids :j:j:j They are on holiday from Australia for my brothers wedding. I havent seen them for 2 years. Mum, Dad and DD were in Oz last year.
Oh and the sun is shining at last, hurrah!! :j:j:j

ohh yes please help me about the sausages.... will check back in 5 xxx
I know I'm late with this but I only just got on here sorry.
I cook my sausage from frozen 99% of the time. As long as you make sure they are cooked right through, properly, you shouldn't have any problems.
I have done this for MANY years and haven't yet suffered any side effects!
Morning everyone BTW!!

Mrs Beatson I would highly recommend using the stardrops/white vinegar/water mix if you want to use this. I have ditched all my chemical sprays and only use this now. I was even converted to use white vinegar instead of fabric conditioner in my wash now, and since then I have started using only one tablet of washing powder with a cupful of soda crystals and bicarb of soda.
But I highly recommend the stardrops mix, it also makes a good stain remover on clothing before a was too.
Thanks for this! I've used Stardrops in the past but just wasn't impressed with it. I don't have any white vinegar at the moment, perhaps it is the vinegar that makes the difference?
I'm going to give SD's another go today diluted but a little stronger and see how that goes! Can't understand how everyone else raves about it but it didn't do the job for me!:o:rotfl:If you have made someone laugh today... check your skirt isn't tucked into your knickers!!!:rotfl:SarahShattered wrote: »Mrs B you're a legend.0 -
Hugs Julie and DS the blood tests sound traumatic. Can’t the District Nurse come and give you some help the first few times so that you get used to it? She should be able to show you how to make it easier
FeeFee I always defrost sausages in the microwave and it’s fine
Boddy have fun at the wedding
Sexy, glad LBF turned up this morning
