Mrs Beatson glad the stardrops got the kitchen clean. I'm only pulling your leg if you don't like it use what you normally do. We are all different and what one person says is great might not suit someone else. Just do whats right for you.:D

Dusty I've never had a problem with stardrops but I end up coughing and can't breath right if I use cream cleaner for some reason.

    I know you are!

As I say, I just want to be "amazed", gonna stick with it though because for the amount you need to use and the price, how can you go wrong?

It's hard not to use as much as you think you need (being used to other cleaners) I washed the draining board with a teeny bit of neat Stardrops because it has permanent water marks. Took me AGES to get rid of the suds!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: and I think thats a great selling point. Especially in this "credit crunch" time!

Now, I wonder if I get extra stars for using Stardrops??:rotfl::rotfl:
:rotfl:If you have made someone laugh today... check your skirt isn't tucked into your knickers!!!:rotfl:

    Afternoon all,

Went to the gym and had a good body combat class - the guy who teaches it often dips back into old routines and CDs from before I went to the class, so it makes the class more varied instead of doing the same routine over and again. We have a new routine to learn next week, as they launch a new one every 6 weeks so that your body doesn't get too used to them.

Found a localish supplier for free range eggs (just down the road from you LadyL, so let me know if you want to know where it is), where they sell 6 huge eggs for just 90p. I needed eggs cos I'm making toad in the hole tonight for dinner.

Have just used up the vegetable curry from a couple of nights ago, with a couple of mini naan breads, have hung out the towels on the line to dry, and put another load in the wash.

The whole of the upstairs has been hoovered, including the study, spare room (the bits I could get to) and the bathroom. New towels have been put out in the bathroom, and everywhere is looking a lot more sparkly. Will have to find the lists so I can update with some crossing out.

Hope everyone is enjoying the lovely sunshine.

The washing is dry and put away, luckily because we keep getting little bits of rain. It feels humid out there too.

Dinner eaten and all cleared away. Yummy. Just had one of those text messages on our phone from DD1 in China for Fathers Day. DH and I don't use mobiles but other people can send them to us and it gets read out. Weird :D

When the rain stops I'll go back out to the garden and read my book again.

Welcome Lav... I speak from experience when I say, you've come to the right place!
Oh and feel free to rant, everyone else does and 1. it helps get things off your chest and 2. there's always someone with a good bit of advice!

    Now, what's this about a special pm???? *glares @ Toots*:rotfl: I didn't know about that!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I have just been scrubbing upstairs, in particular a door that was stubbornly filthy and wouldn't come clean in this weeks paintwork wash-down. OK OK you lot win!!!! Stardrops DID get it clean, although I did end up coughing from the fumes :( I was using a spray bottle with diluted SD in but did use lots of spray. Cleaned off the pen/pencil marks a treat!

Slowly but surely you may convert me yet!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

  • Fun Friday! ~ Monster rooms, Spare rooms -all done!

Can I have my final star please, toots? :D

    Hello to Lav !

Finally tackled the airing cupboard and I've pulled out some 'baby-ish' duvet covers for the charity shop. I though DS1 would like to choose a new 'grown-up' duvet cover but he still wants a Star Wars one - bless.

All of this cleaning today has led to another NSD so that's two challenges in one. Bonus!

But for some reason, the mad flying I've had today has left me with a bout of hiccups - you know the big ones that hurt and make your whole body jump?
