Camera out read to catch the Red Arrows, but the cloud cover is low, and looks like rain here at the moment. Grand Prix on telly at 12.15.

Phone my father to be told by Step mother, he is down the allotment, and will be back later.

Sadly OH is in a mood with me, goodness knows what I have done, I keep asking, but he is not really talking................his daughter and grandson, sent his cards and photos for fathers day, so I don't think it is father's day related.

Not really got a lot planned for the rest of the day, might do some more weeding, but running out of weeds to weed at the moment. Might see if I can borrow a long ladder of a neighbour and cut overhanging branches off.

    Afternoon

Toots - bathroom day all done

Kaz, good luck with the job application and feel free to PM me if I can help in anyway

KazW - well done on your strawberries. I have a fair size patch and we never buy strawberries - we gorge whilst they are in season and wait until the next year (unless we are lucky and get a small second crop). Sorry about your OH , sometimes 'special' days can stir up all sorts of deep feelings.

Just having lunch and then I need to prepare some food and I really want to finish DS2 room.

Ooooooooooo you'll go to the bad fire saying stuff like that Mrs Beatson :rotfl::rotfl:
Seriously though if you really don't like it for cleaning use it to wash your dishes.
My mammy only bought stardrops and did all the jobs in the house with it, I'm the same but I buy bleach too. Am I the only one that remembers them awful glass bottles it used to come in???????? Used to hate carring them on the bus home.

I know, I know and I'm just about to make it worse!!

I read the thread about Stardrops and my enthusiam was renewed! Everyone on the thread says how wonderful it is, how much cleaner everything is, so I decided to clean the kitchen with it this morning. I don't have any vinegar so it's just diluted Stardrops.

Now I WILL admit that it has cleaned everything nicely, but I'm not "astounded" nor "amazed" at how much better it is. I think it cleans as well as "the next leading brand".

I cleaned my kitchen floor with it also. I have the kind of crappy council flooring that reminds me of a public toilet, white with gray and sparkly flecks in it. I hate that floor! It ALWAYS looks dirty and I normally use copious amounts of bleach on it because thats the only way it looks clean. I have to say that Stardrops brought it up as clean as the bleach normally does and no other cleaner has done that.

I know that knocking Stardrops is akin to me beating your children in this neck of the woods and I apologise :D

I have to agree though that a little goes a long way and for the price, you certainly can't go wrong. I think I will continue to use it due to the price.

Perhaps someone could tell me if I'm doing something wrong, I want the "amazing" results everyone else gets!!!

Am off to tidy upstairs now.. darn kids!!!

I'm with you I so don't get stardrops and it is noxious stuff which affects my breathing and I don't even have a breathing problem:eek: I tend to use just microfibre cloths and if necessary a dab of astonish - now that is wonderful stuff;)
