Morning All
Couldn't get on the computer last night after I'd read the thread as DH was playing games on facebook. Didn't get anything done yesterday as we went out for lunch, then I took the kids to the Summer fayre at the church up the road and then i nipped to Hanley to do a bit of shopping.
After my traumatic start to the morning I don't know what we're doing for the rest of the day - just going to put some washing on the line though and reload the WM. DS is supposed to be making DH a card as he didn't do 1 at school and I hadn't realised but now he doesn't want to - he says his finger hurts.
Hope everyone has a good day
Hugs

Morning all,
At least I'm up at a reasonable time today! I did wake up around 4am again to go to the loo, but luckily managed to get back to sleep again.
Little black furry survived his trip to the vets. He is normally in a real state by the time we get there as he doesn't travel well, but this time we turned his box around so he was facing the windscreen, and he seemed to travel better as he wasn't thrown around as much by the movements. He did yowl a bit as he always does, but at least he wasn't drooling and panting as he usually does. In the waiting room there was a little jack russell on a lead and he didn't seem too bothered by that, but then the jack russell's HUGE sister (a chocolate curly haired retriever) came into the waiting room and stuck her nose right up to Ebony's cage to see what he was. Cue Ebony hissing and spitting and whacking her, and then sitting there growling until we went into the vet. By the time he got in there, he was drooling! He was very brave in the vet's though and didn't make a noise when he had his jabs. Straight out his catflap when we got home, and although we saw him last night, he hasn't come in for his breakfast, and there are no signs of him now, despite calling for him, so I'm a bit worried! Hope he comes back soon.
I'm off to the gym soon as I didn't go yesterday cos my class was at the same time as the vet appointment. We went into town after that and got my sister's birthday present (I was given a £5 off fragrances voucher in Boots, so got her the Davidoff Cool Water for Women summer addition - £24 instead of £29). They have lots of deals on their perfumes at the moment if anyone else needs to buy for themselves or for gifts. Bonus is, I got given a £2 off haircare products till spit, so will treat myself to some John Frieda shampoo.
Better go and do a bit of decluttering before I go, so I can cross some things off the lists. Better hoover the bedroom before little black furry comes home cos he doesn't like the hoover.
Have a Happy Father's Day / Summer solstice everyone.
