F***ing angry. The delivery man hasnt posted my dress because it was too big (a dress mate are you joking ?). My hard work has basically got my no where for doing the extra hours and being able to enjoy a nice night out in an outfit I have worked hard to pay for. I cant collect it until mon ! So nothing to wear tomorrow except scabby old stuff or things that I have worn millions of times since getting a couple of months ago.

I know this sounds petty, but to me this night out meant alot because I worked so hard during this month.

Aw hun thats s**t. Sometimes they are such idiots. :mad:
I know what you mean about the night out meaning a lot, its not petty. When you dont get out often it is a big deal. Its not like you get to do it all the time, then when you're all excited and some stupid delivery man puts the dampeners on it I can guess how you must be feeling!

Couldnt you find anything nice in your wardrobe or maybe borrow something off a friend?

This may be a stupid suggestion, but maybe you could buy something else from town tomorrow day, then return the dress that you pick up on monday. This way maybe you could still have something nice and new without spending any extra money. I know this wont be ideal though as it wont be the same once your hearts set on a particular outfit nothing will probably be as good. Just something to think about?

Nah they wont let me collect it for however many hours and I tried phoning this morning and some guy said that they werent open to cutomers at the moment and to call back later. Im working at 10 though, so im getting the earlier bus into town so i can rush about for 20 mins before getting another bus to work. If i dont find anything there isnt much I can wear, all my stuff has been worn to death. Thats exactly it Sept, I dont go out much and I was so excited about my outfit. FireFox cant go at lunch time because there is literally no shops with anything I could wear (unless I just go get a farmfoods bag and customise a dress...)

I found something, wasnt as expensive as my other one that the post man couldnt deliver so thats alright.

Ye it was so much fun, I know my dress drama was petty but it did mean alot to me so thank you for caring

A little bit disappointed with myself this month credit card wise. After saying so often that I am quite good with not buying food that often and using up what I have for meals before buying much. I checked my credit card (had been using it for food because I had to wait on my dd coming out my current account) clearly went a little overboard and spent about 60 on food for the last couple of weeks. So now my credit card balance has taken a big hit and I need to have a good look as it has shot up from 200 !

On a brighter note, i have worked out that ill have about 500 over the budget next month to spend (well not spend on good things only debt, glad its showing changes mostly going down !) and that is only including shifts up to next sunday ! If I can get another £400 into my account then guess what ! I can pay off my overdraft and have a little bit left for travel and food. This is a huge thing for me as it was at 3000 in jan and I havent had a positive balance since goodness knows when ! It would mean that Id not have very much extra as a positive but at the same time it would be gone from 750 to 0 very quickly. Im working very hard so if I can get shifts for next week and the week after I think I could do it or maybe down to 200 as a back up ? Very excited. Will do my monthly money round up later tonight as I dont have all my figures yet do due the credit card food thing !

I'm trying to get rid of my overdraft and trrryyyinggg so hard to be good and finding it very difficult. Will have to use you as my inspiration.

Thats ok, about the dress drama, it wasnt petty, I wouldve been EXACTLY the same.

Honestly it will really be such a big difference to my bank balance not to have to pay 225 a month plus interest to clear my overdraft (this is what I have been doing so far). So realistically my credit card will be cleared in Dec (if my plan goes well) and then I should have money for christmas presents, thats the plan see how it goes !

Going to phone the office later to see if there are any shifts needing cover next week.
