I've never used a Mac myself, but the only thing about the interface that has ever bothered me is that the window controls are in the upper left-hand corner. Given time, I'd doubtless become accustomed to its foibles.
When I use Windows, I keep trying to close things on the top left. Then when I do manage to close a window, the whole program closes.
Fairly typical reaction from Apple though really, it's clear Windows 7 is unnerving them somewhat so they've resorted to childish games like that though.
Don't see why Windows 7 would unnerve them. For all the hype that's surrounding it, it's a pretty limited update.0 -

I have a Macbook and a PC. They both are great but you have to buy your machine for what you want your machine to do. I am a software engineering student but also use alot of graphics software for my web designing. I love Apple products as they are robust and they work so well because Mac OS X is bespoke for mac machines so drivers and everything work so well.
Macs also now have best of both worlds as you can use both OS's at the same time using Parallels Desktop which I do at the moment. Connect my Macbook to my 32" Samsung TV.. one screen with my Mac OS and other with Windows XP.
As a photography student I really feel you should pay that bit extra and get a Macbook and trust me you wont regret it as I know MANY photographers who have moved over the Mac OS X and havent regretted it.0 -
I am a mac person. They are a little more expensive but they are great. I rarely get any kind of viruses and they have tons of easy to use software. Check ebay.0

Pah, Vodka is the drink of Gods, drunk neat bottle taken from the freezer and poured into a 100ml shot glass also taken from freezerTo hell with that, whiskey and coke is a hanging offense! Mix coke with a lesser spirit like vodka, Jack Daniels or white spirit - they're all the same

We digress again but I do also like a nice JD single barrel
Mac's are better as Mac owners have better taste in drinks
