    Evening all!

Welcome to Lola, having enjoyed reading your various posts today! I do think it's okk to have a bigger capsule collection...I think the priorities are to just have clothes that fit and you like and wear...there'll always be the odd thing you can tweak though!!

Going to be a busy sorting weekend for some, I see. Good job the weather's forecast to be carp!

I'm going to be emptying my wardrobe again this weekend...as I put most of the remaining contents into a suitcase:T ready for the getaway on Sunday:cool2:. Still in a bit of a dilemma with the baggy white cropped pants. Might put them on a very hot wash! Damn things never shrink unless you don't want them too!

Back here tomorrow..have a great weekend all!

  • Hi Bronnie, I have taken things on holiday that are ok, but dont wear regularily, worn them while Im away, and left them there. I have left a trail of clothes all over the world! It cuts down on the washing when I get home, and since the stuff is wearable ( not tat or rags) I hope some one at the hotel can get a use out of them. Occasionally Ive found that something gets worn loads, and I end up bringing it back.

I do exactly the same katie, someone will be happy to take it home and get some wear out of it.

    Hi all

Well, 7 of my ebay listings have finished so far today and another load will finish this evening/during the next 4 days. I am really happy with how it is going.

I have taken more photos of clothes today and will load them on tonight and have 4 more bags full of things to take pictures of when my camera battery re- charges.

I have not been to work this week (on gardening leave) and have still found that my capsule wardrobe is sufficient for whatever is happening during the day. I am confident that I really do not need to buy anything else for a good while.

Hope you are all well, and have a good holiday Bronnie

    Thanks, Mel!

Just a few bits left to fit in my case and then I'm ready to go!:j

Sure I'll have a lot of catch-up reading to do when I get back! Hopefully it's going to be good weather in the UK this week, so you can make the most of your summer wardrobes.:D

Really looking forward to wearing my new co-ordinated holiday clothes and new accessories.

    Have a fun week all!

You've all been inspiring me to start sorting out more items for eBaying. So far this week, I have filled a large blue Ikea bag and three big boxes (think twice copier paper sized). You can see I am a long way from a capsule wardrobe. Just need to get on with getting everything listed now. :D

Have a great holiday Bronnie.
  • Went to a clothes swapping party yesterday. Swapped nine items of clothing that didn't fit or were too small for four items that I really liked.(Was going to ebay some of them but this was easier, and it was all in aid of charity too). So very pleased with that. I've also cleared quite a lot for the charity shop over the past couple of weeks. Did buy a couple of charity shop items but now sticking to the one in one out rule. Have a lovley holiday Bronnie.

Have a fun holiday Bronnie. Try and remember some of your outfit combinations and post them. Maybe we could make a favourite holiday/summer outfits thread
