How much did you make in the end Mel? And how many items did you sell? (I'm so nosy!)
I've 22 items listed on there that will finish this weekend. If they don't go then they will be relisted for another 10 days. After that they're off to the charity shop! Fling!
Hiya
32 items have finished so far and those items made £411. Not bad for things that I would normally have thrown away (not that there was anything wrong with them, I am just lazy):T
I have another 49 items listed that will finish between tomorrow and next Monday.
4 items didn't sell of the first lot, so they have been re-listed and if they don't sell this time, they are going to the charity shop next week.

Hi Mel, £411 is brilliant.. Well done... I myself will be taking photographs and listing some stuff this weekend0 -
Sorted through the clothes I had been piling up to get rid of last month before reading this thread (Having this thread here keeps reminding me to organise selling them).
Got about 30 items of clothing that are of absolutely no use to me and also a further 40 items of make-up/jewellery/accessories to go with it (Including 15 bottles of nail polishes from old Bootsing trips!). Going to just advertise the lot on the friday free ads as I don't have the patience to do eBay. Not sure how much to price it at yet though, but it includes:
3 pairs of jeans
1 pair Punkyfish cords (So expensive but bright pink so match nothing!)
3 shirts
8 t-shirts
3 dresses
3 skirts (One brand new but again, doesn't match anything and I don't like it anymore!)
3 jumpers
2 hoodies
4 pairs knee high socks (Have too many pairs!)
1 hat
2 belts
15 nail polishes
3 unused lip pencils
2 unused lipsticks
2 bracelets
1 necklace
I could go on! Just really usesure of how to price it up as a lot. Thankfully it's easy enought o do the advertisement for it, it's just deciding how much it should go for. Anyone got any estimates I can use?The "Bloodlust" Clique - Morally equal to all. Ooh, can I join??
After graduating last year I had an epic wardrobe clearout and got rid of around absolutely loads of clothing and made myself a tidy £1500 in the process!
However..... I'm a Topshopaholicand things are creeping back in - after reading this thread I'm inspired to de-clutter my wardrobe and stop thinking I've got nothing to wear!
Granted the 'situation' is literally nowhere near as bad as it was, but I'm a sucker for all things 'on trend' and I need to stay away from Topshop - for the sake of my bank account. I'm so MSE in other areas of my life but so bad at resisting clothes spending!
Rule 1: No going to shopping centres
Rule 2: No going to Topshop
Rule 3: Will clear out at least 15-20 wardrobe items
Rule 4: Will use eBay funds from clothes to pay off Overdraft!
I'll let you know how I get on.....:)June NSD's - 5/25
Overdraft: was £2000, now £1740...getting there!
Card 1: £500, now £0
Card 2: £1200, now £0
Card 3: £250, now £0

I've dragged a few more bits out of my wardrobe.
Mainly dark/black trousers
I've also identified a few things that can be e-bayed.
MinniMe, try using one of the listing such as TurboLister, that way you can list things a bit at a time and then add more info. You can then upload to e-bay when you are ready, rather than having to do it all at one go or having stuff finishing over several days.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
Hi
I am usually a lurker but this post has inspired me to confess all!! I started the mammoth task of clearing out my wardrobe, drawers a couple of weeks ago. So far I have pulled over 160 items that have to go. Many of them have never been worn, have tags on etc. I still have some tops and all of my shoes and accessories to sort out too so this figure will rise!
It is absolutely disgraceful and really the wake up call I needed!!!! I am determined to salvage some cash out of the thousands I have no doubt wasted so am frantically taking photos and trying to list on ebay (especially as today is no listing fee day). Have a sizeable amount ready for the charity shop and only thrown away about 10 items which were well worn.
Don't think I will ever have a capsule wardrobe but if I can fit all of my clothes into 1 wardrobe I will be very happy. (It was 3 wardrobes and a chest of drawers)
Anyway, you are all doing really well and are keeping me focused on my task!

After work, on the last day before my hols, I took off my horrible baggy black work trousers (cheapies from Peacocks and never replaced when I dropped a size , button had fallen off ages ago and there was a secret pin at the waistband):o ...and lobbed them with great force into the bin! Swiftly followed by 2 washed-out black cheapie Asda teeshirts and my Clarks black leather clogs which were practically falling apart at the. seams...What a scruff, I hear you cry:eek:
Had a little shopping trip to Cheshire Oaks today and will be all smart again at work tomorrrow. Have decided to change my working gear and bought these
http://www.next.co.uk/shopping/women/tall/35/1
They have got perfectly placed patch pockets with a flap and button on the bum, which makes them very flattering.
Also got some comfortable shoes, (got to wear this type for H&S and comfort.....now you know why I wear my heels given half a chance!)
http://www.shoes.co.uk/Mens/Rohde/Casual/1472_Mule_slipper-276501301/Navy/
reduced to £28
2 new M&S white scoop neck Tee shirts, pressie from DD (think they were 2 for a tenner or maybe less, plus she gets discount.)
So work wardrobe is now re-organised. Will be looking out for these trousers in the Next Sale and hopefully get another pair!!0 -
Nice trousers Bronnie! The Rhode shoes are supposed to be comfy and non smelly too. I have the clarks cloggy type shoes for work and am totally unimpressed with them. They are almost worn out and I've not had them a year yet. I will look out for some different ones in the sales as I can't carry on with these horrid things!
I finally made about £45 on the 13 items I managed to sell. Clearly don't have as nice stuff as anyone else! Did end up selling a prom dress for 89p in hand though GRRRR!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0
