Sold another copy of Sean Bean's Biography for 39.50 this time as it was only in "good" condition. Paid £12.00 for it on ebay inc p&p, so still made plenty of profit. Also another copy of Sex by Madonna bought for £23 sold for £85:eek:
Oh if only I had 100's of these!
I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

Who the hell would pay £93.50 for a Sean Bean autobiography?

I was given a copy of a book published in 1853 called 'How to make money' (ironic!) by a colleague, to put on ebay. It sold for £10 in a single bid. Pretty good for £0 outlay.

I have no idea and even questioned it myself previously! was £39.50 tho I wish it had been £93.50! Last one I sold went for £45 but was as new. I don't see the appeal personally when you have the likes of malcolm x and martin luther going for 1p when they did so much for mankind. What has Mr Bean ever done?

    Yeah, 39.50, not 93.50, lol.

Bean was Sharpe and Boromir! And Malcolm X was a slightly dubious character...!

But who in a 100 years will remember that Sean Bean played Boromir? There'll have been 10 remakes by then. Not that I'm bothered, he sells well now and that's good enough for me. Long may it last:beer:

Making almost £40 from the autobiography of an average star is a minor miracles in itself!

  • YAY I sold Practical Cheesemaking for £4.20 which I bought in the library for 10p!! I'm well chuffed. Might take another little wander to the library and a couple of charity shops later today.
My mantra is "Never pay full price!" ;)

After reading this I realise I'd seen a copy of the Sean Bean Autobiog last week when I was charity shop trawling, I dismissed it as not worth buying! :wall: Now I just have to remember which shop it was in, I think I visited about 12 shops that day.
