I sold a copy on Amazon a few months ago and it sold within a couple of hours of listing! One to watch out for.

This is my first time listing books on Amazon and I think I've hit a bit of a jackpot.:j
I bought this book ages ago and thought it would be a 1p'er and the cheapest one in the marketplace is £50! And mine is in better condition!
I've looked on Ebay and they sell for £20-30 so it seems like it isn't a total lie!
I've listed it for £49 - should I change to closer to the ebay price? Or maybe even list on eby instead?
I'm so excited - I just can't get over it being worth that much, as it's only a few years old.:T0 -

Have kept a look out for this one for ages as it always appears on the "buyer waiting" list, and it does usually sell for a good price.I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

I've found a suprising number of my books are out of print, and therefore have quite high prices against them!
I can see how this could turn into an obsession!0 -

Sold this yesterday - bought for 50p in the morning and sold by the afternoon. Probably could have got more for better condition.

Well, I only ever sold twice on Amazon, b/c the fees were so high .. got rid of an acting textbook a flatmate left behind for about £15. Between that and the stereo she left, just about covered the bills she neglected to pay before she went.
Best sell though was a 5 vol set "History of Broadcasting in the UK", by Asa Briggs (reissued in 1995 version) which I offloaded to a university library in Belfast for £175. Very nice! For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also ...0
