I have put all our contributions onto a database and printed it out. I take it with me when I go book hunting just in case. It helps to become familiar with them. I know I missed a book on World War II on the list and it was going free!!
I tend to take absolutely anything that's going free, just in case! I can be overcautious when it comes to actually buying things, though.

Sold a copy of 'Feminism & Psychoanalysis: A critical Dictionary' for £19.99 today - my second best ever sale :j . It'll cost quite a bit to post but still pleased. It was one of my old Uni books I'd forgotton about and I only listed it last week as it was just sitting in a cupboard.

Firstly this is not one of mine, I found it while I was browsing. (I'd never put that daft line in my auctions about not being responsible for items lost in the post...)

However, one worth looking out for surely:D

Sold within 10 minutes of listing for £15 to an address in Mayfair (so I regret not having asked £20)

Good sale - that was very quick, did you check if there was 'a buyer waiting' message when you listed? they often come through as quick as that.

No, oddly there wasn't a 'buyer waiting' message.

I've just removed several books from my listing, and cannot get my head round anyone selling books on which they'll lose heavily on postage, for fourpence. Oh well, my loss is Oxfam's gain (we have a specialist book and music Oxfam shop).

I bought a copy of 'Rich Dad Poor Dad' (self help finance) in a charity shop for £1 and it just sold on Ebay for £6.50 - 12 people were watching it!

I sold a copy on Amazon a few months ago and it sold within a couple of hours of listing! One to watch out for. :)

Bought one in a charity shop after reading this but it took a few weeks to sell tho' I was 'low price' - reduced it again by 25p today and it sold this evening, got £4.09 after fees. Were the above copies the original one or book 2?
