RubyMurray wrote:After reading this I realise I'd seen a copy of the Sean Bean Autobiog last week when I was charity shop trawling, I dismissed it as not worth buying! :wall: Now I just have to remember which shop it was in, I think I visited about 12 shops that day.
Hurry back and get it! I have now sold 2 of these, and when I sold last one there was only 1 other listed.I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

hi, i have a couple of books for amazon but i am boggled by what price to put them at. i have joyce grefell requests the pleasure ex library sbn 333194284
It says first published in 1976 and no other dates anywhere i can see. its acceptable. i get to next page of amazon and used and new are selling at 10p i click to see and there are 0 being sold? Is it a clitch or none being sold?
Other book is in near perfect condition Proud Northern Lady isnb 0850332257 1975 this has varying prices so i am stuck what to put as a fair price
How do you tell if soemthign is a collectable edition? i am clueless so any help would be much appreiciated.0 -
Hi Maysie, I'm afraid that the ISBN for the Joyce Grenfell book wasn't recognised when I tried it, there were later editions that seemed to be selling for very little so I don't think that book will be your pension fund.
The other book is a better price and since it's in very good condition I'd put it somewhere in the middle at around £7.
To list a book as 'collectable' it has to be different from the others eg, signed by the author or a first edition, having said that you see some books put in collectable for no apparent reason....0 -

If you put a zero at the front of this ISBN making it 0333194284, it should come up.I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.
