Well thats a nice race though Krider and if you're getting food at the end too I can see that being worth it

I only like to pay less as me and Rich do race quite a bit and it does all add up... luckily he pays most of the time
I do love my new trainers Simply - that half size makes a big difference = no sore toes for me either

They certainly do!
I just totted up the 'value' of the parkruns since the first one I did last November.
If these had been RFLs, for instance, which are the same in terms of being 5Ks in a park then the entry fees would have been £13 x 26 = £338!
Instead, the total entry fees were £0!
Long live parkruns - well done Mr Sinton-Hewitt for getting them going!:D
Oh, and I often get a discount for making 2 entries together - only 50p but, hey, it's almost half a cup of MaccyD's coffee so I aint complaining!:pGt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

I'd also like to add my appreciation for the parkruns. A lot of hard work done by volunteers to keep running accessible to all. Fantastic stuff.:T
Did a slow 5K jog this morning. Just enough to get the toxins cleared out. I even managed not to speed up to impress attractive lady runners! Looking forward to tomorrow now. Going to try to get near the front of the pack, judging by the sheer number of people, it's going to be hard to get through the masses. I only paid £10 as well (my company paid the other half). Plus we get free BBQ and booze in out marquee afterwards, so it works out as very good value. Especially as my wife will be spectating from the marquee and enjoying the freebies!Running Club targets 20105KM - 21:00 21:55 (59.19%)10KM - 44:00 --:-- (0%)Half-Marathon - 1:45:00 HIT! 1:43:08 (57.84%)Marathon - 3:45:00 --:-- (0%)0 -
