The poor boy behind you looks like hes struggling Rich :p

I did another 4 miles today in 40:19 so getting better but I really had to push, looking forward to my rest day tomorrow then hoping to get around 35 minutes on Saturday (over 10 minutes off pb )...

I saw that reply by the way...a few of them think that on there which is nice to see...

Also had an annoying twitter from runnersworld yesterday that just exposes how stupid they are:
'Another excuse to drink coffee: Indiana University researchers find that coffee can be as effective as an inhaler: http://!!!!!!!.com/kljlt6'

Anyway if you check out the report the study was only done on 10 patients and it was carried out with pure caffiene at 9 milligrams per kg which would be stronger than even a double expresso...just shows you what idiotic people they are aiming the magazine at if they think that the study represents a good balanced argument to drink more coffee *rolls eyes*

Well, you remember I mentioned that the Chinese takeway played an unwanted role during the race - I wonder if that chap was downwind?:p:p

That's great news this morning - so 6 days in a row of getting out and doing something and two 4 milers back to back....you're improving quickly so keep it going and enjoy!:D:D

That link didnt work - is there a naughty word in the address?

Also, this post this morning seems to sum up a general feeling. They seem to be on my wavelength over there at the moment, whatever is happening?:p:p;)

"Why not ask RB/Virgin to lower guaranteed places to three successive attempts rather than 5? That way, if you're not a club runner and don't have access to £2K bonded places, there's more of a chance of getting round the course at least to see if it's any good or not? Many people like myself would warmly welcome this "giving-back" to runners the spirit of a Marathon. Don't get me wrong here, I don't mind it being also filled with charity runners. I would just like the spirit of the event to be re-addressed. I personally am sick of hearing "I'm doing it in memory of..." or "I'm doing this for..." when watching these events (controversial thought theredevil_smiley.gif). "

Erm... have you registered Idio? I'm in that one, and I've just been to the website and it says it is now full.

Curses. Really need to start being more decisive about these things.

Really stupid that so many races fill up...

Right, I'm entering the Swansea Bay 10k right now, before that fills up too :)
