  • i went out last night aiming to complete 7 miles ( it's just the way the roads work out near me - working upto a 10k) knocked a particular leg on the head on managed 5.5miles, inlcuding hills near me. my pace felt slow at 58 mins so need to work on it, and i've got the good achey feeling that i haven't felt with 5ks so i must be doing something right

Indeed my 5k pb is 24:38 and my half pb (set around the same time) is 1:56:11 so you should easily go under 2 :D

Ah but I havent run under 30mins yet never mind under 25! :o Well to the best of my knowledge i havent :p

Soon the weight will go back up, muscle weighs more than fat apparently, so as your legs form 'muscles' you'll get heavier.

A good way to tell if your doing well is by that body fat machine they can use. Dont know the name, but you stand on it.
