...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
Yeah like the guy who had to be pulled out of the road to let the ambulance past
Glad you enjoyed racing without though - I thought the crowd were great actually!0 -
Nice pics Linda, well done!
Some people probably took ages as they were too busy texting on their mobile phones, saw loads whilst watching the run!
There was a couple standing next to me who received a call from someone who was obviously out on the course....
The end of the conversation I heard was 'Oh brilliant, at 5 miles already...'
This was past 1hr 40 mins already !!!!!!! Now if you put a little less effort into ringing people up and put a bit more effort into running...........:rolleyes:Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j
