  • Who saw the guy on the right of the screen in the blue top go off at a sprint? He was going faster than the elites lol. He'll be down the pub later saying 'I was winning at one point' :rotfl:

  • Simply - is that Halloween nite run near Reading? If so it's one I was considering, though more scared by the prospect of falling in the Thames than any daft ghosty antics!

Enjoying the GNR from a nice relaxed sofa position :p - hope it's going well for those participating. I know who you mean KYCU - I was thinking to myself, that's gonna hurt in about a mile!

JJ congrats on the marathon
  • Wow that was impressive - Martin Lel finished at about 59:38 and was doing an interview in a very calm voice at 1:00:20!

Dan Robinson has just finished in 1:04:10, the winner of the Jayne Tomlinson Leeds 10K for those that did it.

The direct sun is getting hot here in Sth Shields with not much breeze so it could be hard graft towards the end.

Hope its cooler where you are KMS.

  • I've already counted 10 people whose legs have collapsed underneath them and we've hardly started yet.

They are blatantly in no state to be doing this type of event. Its actually cringeworthy how the presenters are portraying it as 'heroic'.

There has to be worse to come....

I hope there isn't worse but they were saying the temp could rise to 18 degrees. Doesnt make good tv to say 'look at that idiot that just collapsed because he didnt bother to train'
