  • Simply - have a glass of wine, I'm on my third, and all gloom of this mornings run has faded - in fact, in theory, from the comfort of the sofa - I reckon I'm running 8 min miles now!

If I didn't have 18 miles scheduled for tomorrow bj I would happily join you ;)

Uk - I'll ask you later than that - I don't intend going out as early as you tomorrow :p

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
  • Oh - I want the chocolate pudding! But I've been too naughty all week, I can hear my inner voice saying "step away from the fridge, step away from the fridge"

Nice-looking choc puds there, BoS! I'm drinking some white wine: not sure if it counts as chablis though: it came in a 1 portion little bottle and I didn't look, just dunked it in the glass. Ooh, wait, I think it's a chianti.

Speaking of chocolate...I had a bar of it today. Tut, tut! :o
