I've got my 1/2 the week before that 10 race right? If so probs not a good idea considering I am doing 3 halfs in 6 weeks and I get back from Frankfurt late on Friday night after a hectic work conference (worlds biggest book fare!) am tempted though - if it was a 10k I defo would.
Rich are you staying here that weekend - its likely you'll get into London before me - hope thats okay0 -
Well, as UK said earlier, the places are running out fairly swiftly for that one...
4 x 10miles+ races in 7 weeks will be pretty tough going but at least its a flat one if you do want to do it!:DGt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

Hmm its more the working week before it thats a problem - Frankfurt is 4 whole days of back to back solid meetings and 'socialising' its a huge deal even for me to go this year so I will have to put in 110% hmmm will have a think about it anyway0

Interesting comment re official rankings:
"In road races, the times recorded for rankings purposes will be the "gun" times. This is to ensure consistency over all races both now and in the past to reflect that rankings represent a record of performances done under direct competition whereby the results of a race are ordered by the order that athletes cross a common finish line after a common start. This is also the common method used by statisticians worldwide."
Thats another big factor in why it is very thin on the ground between the elites and the masses in the big events.Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j
