Are you doing that one Linda? Looks like a possibility, I might see how my training goes through September and then decide.

The Leeds Abbey Dash - arent they 'making' you raise money though  seem to remember htis causing a storm on RW because it used to be a great club race and its been taken over by Age Concern and they are in theory making sponsorship a condition of race entry (although they cant actually do that and its not legally binding but they may try to chase you after the event )

Yes I'm doing the Leeds Abbey dash,
I have paid my entry fee plus a £20 donation to Help the Aged.
I don't tend to do all the sponsorship thing because there are so many people asking to be sponsored at the moment.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    Yep it is.

Oh that does ring a bell about the Abbey Dash - I've 'done' my fundraising event for this year... hmmm. Would rather find something that was less than £17.50 to enter too to be honest
