Felt like a good run , worked hard to try and keep the pace even and the result was all miles were within 38 secs. Wasnt the same course as yesterday but i didnt get sabotaged by traffic or having to adjust my shoes and it still included hills.

Looking forward to my nine miles tomorrow .

Wow - this thread is so fast moving! As fast as it's runners! I'm a bit gutted I can't make the Wimbledon park run on Saturday, we're going away - and the whole family thought staying home an extra 2 days so I could run 3.1 miles was unreasonable! I guess so. Anyway, I'll do it another time, but shame it won't be with you guys.

Looking forward to lots of hard hilly distances over the next fortnight, then hopefully the likes of Wimbledon and Roundshaw will seem a doddle. Tempted to try Richmond too!

And hopefully, sometime soonish, I'll be brave enough for 10K - hopeful date, the Loch Ness 10K in October.

Becky - stop saying you're slow - you're amazing hun! And don't forget, I nearly gave up before you came along!

Well they wont walk in it under 2.5 hours ;), but I suspect the roads will just re-open at that point rather than the race stopping if you see what I mean :D

Just done a 13 mile training run in 2:15:38 - nice and steady but I think for the moment I've reached the limit of what my morning runs can do - I am soooo hungry now (which is unusual for me straight after runs) - I'll leave the 16 miler til next Sunday when I have some brekkie in the morning and then go out!

Its about the same pace as yesterday which is interesting because I went through the 9 mile point 4 minutes slower! I stormed off at the end though because i had run out of water and was soooo thirsty!

I also had a funny moment last night when I bought a drink that I thought was low calorie isotonic one and it turned out to be a hypotonic one which did not make me feel very well at all :o, note to self learn to read labels :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Happy running all!

Good running, you've earned your brekkie this morning!:D

And if that was a steady run then it shows that 1:30 last Sunday was a realistic aim. So very positive week's training so far.

Now take it easy and save yourself for the weekend.:p

PS See you got a mention in the parkrun newsletter.;)
