Oh you are doing that one - i got scared away by the huge entry fee ;)

Good luck anyway - dont through your bottle on the floor though - they wont get permission for 2010 if they cant keep it cleaner than last year I've heard :p

Oh start/finish opposite the back of the cathedral - it should be a nice route - you get to go round two of the best bits of Bristol (Queen Sq and Castle Green) and for a very hilly city - it looks pretty flat :D

Talking of entry fees, Bradford really are showing the way with their renewed enthusiasm for road running.

The organisation of the 10K in March was superb with a city centre finish.

Now in preparation for the re-introduction of the marathon next year the Bradford City Run is being held in October as a 10 mile road race. The entry fee being £8 +£2 for unaffilliated.

A big city race can be held with those sort of entry fees......the £30+ for half marathons and less are taking the proverbial!

I got scared away by the size of the event - that's why I opted for Chippenham instead. :D

A steady 6 miles this morning. My legs still felt a bit tired, especially on the inclines, and my right calf felt a little 'twitchy' so have been trying to drink more water today - I've even eaten a few salted peanuts even though I don't really like them. Oh, the sacrifices we make for our running :rotfl:

    Nice running evab
