I hate the run after speedwork day - did 4.8 miles in 47:53 but it was tough - I've had cramp in my foot overnight and it was back again on the run. At least the rain was here to keep me cool :D

Well done on longer run B.J - dont worry about about pushing too much further at this stage - just enjoy and see where it gets you!!

What did you do on your speed session Uk? Hope the hotel wasnt too expensive!

Yeah its fine now Evab thanks - I think its just from the new workload rather than anything to worry about as I had it on Sunday for a while (after my race on Saturday) - I can run with it, but when I am tired its more hard work ;)

Good luck on the lunchtime run :D

    2 x 800m ish ( twice round cricket outside line )

and about 8 miles of "normal" running

Hotels ok :D.. might be a bit shabby but its only about 200 meters from where i need to be to for the bus to the start.. :D... and right next to the finish.

and seeing as the flight came in at £70 return and the other 7 nights are free can not complain to much :p

only an American Journo would write a quote like that!

Thanks Becky, yes, I'll just keep going, kinda wanna be out running all I can at teh moment - but know I have to build up gradually. Addictive!

Had a thought - maybe I should be looking for a 10K in Kent - nice and flat there! ha ha!

By the way, tried on the Asics Cumulus 10 - comfy!!! But they were £85, ouch. But they're on Sweaty Betty for £42, less another 20% today - sale, £33.60 - that sounds good to me? What do you reckon?

Arundel is a lovely area, we keep a caravan at West Wittering, near Chichester, there's a lovely farmer who lets you camp for about £4 a night near Arundel! Let me know if you're into camping! When is it? May come and cheer you on, don't think I'll be ready for 10K by August??? (Ooh, is that a challenge!)

Damn - thought Kent would be 'kind'!!! Ha ha. I actually get a bit excited when I know a hill's coming up - how sad is that!

Right, gonna order trainers now then. Ta for that.
