As a ex e7even customer, I got a deal with AOL silver package £9.99 month and a month free. I have been told by BT for someone reason I can only order broadband if a ISP does a manual CRF. I am having trouble with AOL, sorting this out, been advised by BT to find another provider that will do manual CRF, my question is will Madasafish do a Manual CRF?
Thanks

Hello Shafeeq,
We've taken orders from ex-E7eveners without any problems. For those who placed their order prior to the 24th, the first batch of emails which give the 'go live' dates went out today.
Kind regards,

Madasafish_Customer_Care wrote:Hello Agentzoonie,
I'm sorry about this weekend. I just posted this on another thread discussing the issue:
We experienced two issues this weekend that caused some customers to lose service.
Firstly, there was an issue which began around 11am on Saturday that meant that some customers couldn’t get connected to the Broadband service. This was identified as a username and password authentication problem within BT’s network and we raised this as a fault with them.
At 12.45pm on Sunday there was a major power loss in our main hosting centre that was caused by a widespread power cut in East London. Our hosting centre is equipped with uninterruptible power supplies and backup generators that are supposed to take over in the event of such a power failure. Unfortunately, these measures did not take over and many parts of our service were affected including email, web space and connectivity for both broadband and dial-up customers. We have obviously raised a major complaint with the company responsible for the hosting centre. We do not yet have an explanation as to why the remedial power measures did not take effect. However, we will post this information on our Service Status page as soon as we have it.
Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience that last weekend’s problems have caused you.
BT/Yahoo have their equiptment in the same hosting centre and from the look at their area on ADSL Guide, it does appear that they had the same problems this weekend.
Again, please accept out apologies on this one.
Kind regards,
Samara
Are these the only times there have been problems? It's just I have noticed other times when I've had no broadband ( yesterday afternoon for a few hours being the latest) and the speeds are very much slower than a few weeks ago ( down to 1.2 meg at its lowest today whereas I have had 3.91 meg a month or so back)0 -

Thanks for reply, I know that, it same with aol also, they have taken some E7 users, but with me I am being told by BT for some reason I can only have broadband now till manual CRF is applied by the new ISP, so would like to know will madasafish will do a manual CRF?
thanks

Hey Sloughflint,
We've not had any other reported service issues since this weekend.
If you could please PM me your username I'll look into your speeds for you.

Hi Shafeeq,
We are able to place manual CRFs if it's required - however we've not had to do this with anyone who has come in from E7even as their lines have been cleared and our systems have picked up on it automatically.

Thanks that's great, I will wait till monday and then decide, See if anyway I can order broadband without CRF because AOL are giving a good deal, but for some reason I can't get them to do a Manual CRF, so by Monday if I am not getting anywhere I will give it up as loss and look for another ISP which does a Manual CRF which you said Madasafish will do.
Really appracite all your help

Dear Samara!
I have received the micro filter but looks no change.
I have another question. As I write to you that our main phone socket is on ground floor and I am not comfortable to keep my PC there. I have discussed use of wireless router with friend and his view was that as your fridge is near the phone socket so there will be interruption from fridge. He suggested using network cable. What is you professional view point on it?
Does using networking cable to keep the computer on first floor will affect the speed? I do not want to take wireless router to know later that my fridge is disrupting the broadband now.
Thanks for sendig me an extra micro filter and for your efforts to solve this problem.
Just to tell you that yesterday I tried to order a credit card and today tried to buy a mobile phone but the process could not be completed and near the end of the process the screen crashed to “can not find the server”. Believe me this is very frustrating.
Hopefull we will find a cure.

Hello Khoobsort,
As far as a wireless signal interfering with your fridge, it's not something that I could give you a definitive yes or no on - it would depend entirely on where your fridge is in relation to the router.
You could run an Ethernet cable from downstairs to upstairs as Ethernet cables can happily be 50 meters long before having any impact on the speed.
Kind regards,
