    Yep, that's perfectly understandable.

Of course you'll have the added benefit of broadband not tying up a phone line and giving improved performance on the amount of time that it takes to load webpages and send email etc.

It all goes back to what I was saying earlier about working out what you're looking to get from a service to determine whether it suits your needs.

    Hi Bumptobe,

Mind sending me a PM with your username so that I can have a look at your account to see your product and usage requirements?

Hello James, it is now 17:45 on the first of April. Looking at the 'My Account' Maaf page for my user name (same as on here) I am bewildered to see that in April I have apparently so far downloaded 183 mb and uploaded 9 mb. As these figure are clearly absurd (I downloaded 4 mb in March, less in Jan and Feb), I wonder if you have any comment to make.

The last thing I want is to have to try and contest some stupidly high bill for allegedly going over my monthly (20 mb) contracted limit.

Or is it possible I have some sort of nasty?

I have also noticed that there always seems to be a discrepancy between the usage figures on the "Internet, Broadband Usage" section of the MAAF Account pages and the "Broadband Usage, Broadband Usage History".

This maybe because the latter is not updated at the same time, maybe James_PN would confirm this ?

    Boxman,

Your allowance is in GBs gigabytes not mb, so it's no prob that you have used 183mb today.

    ;)

James I am confused about what is on offer. Both you and MAAF ticket replies offered £25.99 for a 12 month renewal on 50 gig package. Then I asked via ticket, what if I don't want to start a new 12 month contract, just upgrade what I have, and got the same reply £25.99 a month.
Please could you confirm how long I would be locked in if I were to upgrade to 50 gb @ £25.99 ?

Oh b*****, don't you hate it when that happens!

Thank you for taking the trouble to reply, I will withdraw with as much dignity as possible (not a lot!).
