Hi JohnnyB,
Thank you for posting
If you're on the £17.99 pricing, it's definitely time to renegotiate your deal with us. I would be more than happy to see what we can do for you if you PM me your username.
Could you please also PM me the email address that you sent the email to us from and the email address that you sent the email to? We do our best to respond to all emails within 24 hours - however at the very least all emails should be responded to! I'll do my best to find out what's happened here.
Kind regards,

I recently joined madasafish and now Ive discovered that offer is a free wireless router.
with so much of my contract left I am left feeling hard done by.
Is there any prospect do you think that if I negotiate with them they would consider providing the new router as htis is something I could really use?
I know they dont have to and I am going to ask anyway but what do you think my prospects are ?0 -
Never hurts to ask. But a contract is a contract!
You were happy to take the deal they offered at the time you signed up.
All deals constantly change (especially in the isp market) - would you want to change your deal if it was the other way round (eg they had stopped issuing "free" hardware just after they supplied you with a free router)?
Stay with them, and at the end of the 12 months they might well give you one if it is still on offer as an inducement to stay with them.0 -
Hi Samara,
I've just received Invoice 3959210 dtd.07/07/07.
It is a bit more than I was expecting, even though my cheaper 6 months have now run out.
Please can you remind me how to check my monthly usage?
One entry on the invoice for 0.85 + VAT is called "credit card handling fee",
I don't think this can be right as it is the same old card as normal and it is a debit card?
Please can you have a look at this for me.
kind regards,
Harry.0 -
Hi Harryhound,
I'm pretty sure that I've got your username from an old PM, I'll fully investigate this on Monday.
In the meantime, here is how you can check your usage:
Go to https://www.madasafish.com and click on the menu option "My Account" you'll then be prompted to sign in. Once you're in the secure My Account area, click on the "Internet" tab and you'll find a breakdown of your usage for this month in this area. Click on the text beneath it that says "View your broadband monthly history".
In this section you'll see a breakdown for each month - if you click on the total for each month (it appears in a lighter blue colour) you'll see a daily breakdown.
I'll be back in touch with you tomorrow when I've had a chance to investigate. Don't worry, I'll get everything sorted!
Kind regards,

Announcing the sell out of MAAF to BT, the boss at Brightview says:now is the right time to do this deal with BT, for both our shareholders and our customers
If the customers wanted to be with BT then they could have gone straight there!
FULL STORY HERE0 -
Hi Samara,
My initial reaction was I really don't believe it, were do I send the bouquet?
But now I'm wondering if you need a stiff drink; I think I might 'cos I'm really annoyed with myself:
http://www.thinkbroadband.com/
(When you get to Friday, make sure you read the nice comments).
You really don't have to break off from spending all weekend doing "due diligence" to chase after a quid or two of mine. I'm sure I would not expect such service from BT, in fact I have just come off the 'phone having had one of those press button, 2 now 7, now key 8 and wait - you might get a human in due course, electronic conversations: My 91 year old uncle has a fault on his line, at least I hope that proves to be the case, as I've just been threatened with charges of about 150 GBP if I've got it wrong!
I'm really annoyed about Friday's announcement as back in December when I was doing my "due diligence" and choosing Madasafish, I got really excited about the thought of buying Brightview penny shares. I even got as far as doing my own calculations of how much per client BT paid for Plusnet. However "wiser" council prevailed. Hell maybe BT is setting up a gold service for savvy customers - more like it cannot get customers of its own so is buying other peoples?
Have you got any Brightview shares? If you have, make sure your directors have not sold us gold plated customers cheap.
Harry
Come to think of it, I'm a BT shareholder, so make sure you keep on working your socks off:D
Afterthought:
"BT (BT.A) retail chief executive Ian Livingston said Brightview would fit in with BT’s broadband service, the most popular in the UK".
Wot in the same way that BA is the world's favourite airline ?????????
Must go and look for my missing bag CU0 -

Hi Harryhound,
It's business as usual here and I'll continue to work my socks off.
Madasafish customers are still my (and my colleagues) top priority.

Good to hear - but why are we finding out about this via the back door?
Uswitch Representative Chris Frost sees things differently:...price comparison site,Uswitch, warned that Madasafish and Waitrose broadband customer could see customer support levels slip
If the paying customers are truly everyone at Brightview's top priority, then why no announcement/reassurance from them.
Anyone signing up via the MAAF website today would never know the awesome truth of who they were really joining!
Madasafish customers did not join up to get sold on to BT.0 -
Hi Quentin,
The deal hasn't been signed yet.
Once it has there will be an official announcement on our website and we will be emailing all of our customers to let them know what's going on and that it's business as normal.
Kind regards,
