Since the payments to the company are 30 days in advance, what is the position with regards getting the months money you've already paid back ?"Excellent !!"0

I believe that you have to join the list of creditors, basically I would be surprised if you get anything back. Your bank or CC may be generous / cover this sort of thing.0

Setanta Screens will shortly go blank, no more subs will be collected.
From the BBC
The Irish broadcaster Setanta Sports has gone into administration after failing to make a number of payments to sporting organisations.
The administrator Deloitte said that it would shortly cease broadcasting to customers in Great Britain but would continue to operate elsewhere.
They said they would immediately stop collecting subscription payments.
About 200 employees involved with the British operations will be made redundant, the firm said.
Setanta had a total of 420 employees in the UK and Ireland.
"This is a sad day for all concerned," said Sir Robin Miller, chairman of Setanta. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Have been with Setanta for last 2 years now, what with Setanta as it is now for the last few weeks, I decided to cancel my subscription yesterday, via email.
I agreed with the customer sales advisor last payment would be 22/7/09, and my subcription would then be cancelled in Aug, therefore I would cancel my direct debit after the 22/7/09?
On hearing today that Setanta has gone into administration, will all payments now stop or should I cancel Direct debit now, seeing as Setanta are no longer broadcasting?
Any help, much appreciated.0 -
