Looks like its hours away from going off air. STV reporting that meeting are taking place in London with the directors to tell them the company will be placed in to administration. Apparantly it will go off air tonight.
What happens with out subscriptions? Do we need to contact them to cancel?0 -
If I recall correctly, when OnDigital/ITV Digital went belly up, I cancelled my direct debit forthwith just to make sure no further collections could be made!0

I pay for it using my Tesco Mastercard, would it be best to call them to stop all payments to Setanta?0
-
Yes, updated report from STV suggests that Setanta will be a goner @ Midnight tonight, and will officially be placed into administration tomorrow morning. STV work in partnership with Setanta, and even share the same studios I think in Glasgow, so I think they may be spot on.0

My husband has subscribed to Setanta for several years now and they take payment once a year direct from his bank account. As it is not a DD debit how on earth does he cancel it or will he need to close his account to make sure they do not take any more.0

Pondskater, when was the last payment made, and when is your sub due for renewal?0
-
I think it is in July, though I have to check for certain.0

Just heard the Setanta staff have a meeting tomorrow morning at 9am. That basically means... goodbye.
I would see what happens tonight pondskater. If it goes off air, then you would have to contact your bank to make sure they dont take any more money out of your account.0 -
Thanks Matt, think we'll hot foot it to the bank tomorrow, once we know what is happening tonight.0
