ARGOS CLEARANCE SALE MARK XXII

Ummm don't know what to say?
I can see where you are coming from. Enough said.
I love this site and forum, and I love getting free stuff - just like anybody else, so I don't want to upset anybody. I can't make any money out of the RO list as you can't buy the RO list products on the internet.
My original idea of the RO list was to try and help out as I had the Argos catalogue databases at my disposal. That was all.Argos Product Checker: http://www.letzshop.co.uk/argos-product-checker.php
for Argos Promotions go to: http://www.letzshop.co.uk/argos-special-promotions.php0 -
Letzshop, personally I feel you are being treated a bit harshly here. As far as I'm concerned, the more people that pull together in this forum to identify the RO list bargains to others, the better. I also have my own list in Excel spreadsheet format which has taken me a few hours to put together, so I can appreciate the amount of work you have put in.0

Okay, NOW my feathers are ruffled!
letzshop wrote:Hi,
I'd just like to defend myself and say I have not stolen any links or content, I tried to create my own RO list, by taking the old argos catalogue and finding all the products that are no longer stocked in the new Argos catalogue…..

Below are links to threads where questions are asked by either Letzshop or drc 15. This info. is then regurgitated and passed off as independent research.
Make up your mind about the info on letzshop.coN and decide where some of the content comes from.

So my list has about 3,000 products on it, but it could be that none of them are actually part of the RO list…..
So why do you pass off the links in your signature as RO lists then, if they are not?
It has nothing at all to do with the argos adverts/affiliate links (?) on your site.
The RO lists is not simply a list of products that do not appear in the latest catalogue, but of course as the expert that you wish to pass yourself off as you’d know this wouldn’t you?
Taken from Letzshop web-site
"©Copyright letZshop.co.uk 2002-2004 All images and information on this site are the copyright of letZshop.co.uk.There are many people who use MSE and the forums, and have an internet based business or trading. These people abide by the rules and accept these forums are not about misleading self-promotion. I can say misleading based on the information you have asked for in good faith, and then used for your own web-site and then copyrighted it.
None of the images on this site may be copied or used in any way without the

Especially when compared to these web-sites.

Also the way that you have mimicked other MSE'rs and put an 'RO' link in your signature has been done to cause confusion with the less informed. If that was not your intention, where is the link to Stumpys ORIGINAL lists, the web-site where actual RO information is contained.
You have been reluctant to reveal you get paid through the links on your site, unlike Martin Lewis-he takes great pains to point out the beneficial links, and lists non-beneficial links next to them.
You are playing a dangerous game in the way that I think you could well be leaving yourself open to legal action- I am not a lawyer, it is my own opinion, but you have copyrighted content on your site which has already been copyrighted on here. I think thats not legal, is it?
BTW
Where are the t’s & c’s on your site?
Why no ‘contact us’ section?
You can spend your time alone re digesting past regrets,
Or you can come to terms and realize you're the only one who can forgive yourself.
Makes much more sense to live in the present tense.

letzshop: I know it looks like we are all picking on you a bit, I promise you that's not the case.
It's just that we all help each other out as much as possible and we're wary of all the goodwill around here being taken advantage of. Any kind of possible profit/benefit (call it what you will), made from this site isn't really playing the game.
I take on board what you say about not benefiting from the Argos stuff (in particular)on your site, but obviously if people are visiting your site because of Argos, then your site (and therefore you) may well benefit from the increased traffic.
Contractor mentions that he also has a spreadsheet with info.....I think many of us do, but the point is that that letzshop is advertising this info on his own site which he benefits from. I don't think he has the right to do that.Herman - MP for all!0 -

Today, she dashed out to Tesco (ssh, kid on its Argos) and bought my daughter a stepper at a great price. Apparently its in a huge, heavy box and is down for home delivery on Sunday
