I may have missed something (though I've tried to keep up to date), but I am slightly uncomfortable about letzshop's rather 'commercial' site.

I know it's a matter of choice and it is nothing personal against the letzshop site but could a Mod decide whether letzshop should be in the refferrals board as it seems to me without this thread letzshop wouldn't have a platform (piggy-backing seems an appropriate term).

Or as I said earlier, have I missed something

You can spend your time alone re digesting past regrets,
Or you can come to terms and realize you're the only one who can forgive yourself.
Makes much more sense to live in the present tense.

Anyone found anything yet? I can't find icons for new layout - also how was the Edinburgh doo???
    Claire (& smile!)

Avatars have been disabled with this new software, and so at the moment nobody is allowed to change icons/avatar.

Normally it is in User CP, then edit Avatar.

Claire you have a CP User, which is your Control Panel, go into that and then edit options. Change the "thingy can't remember the name" to enhanced and you will find you have a reply screen pretty similar to what you had :) only better!

And the Edinburgh doo is this w/end so does that mean you could come?? ;)

edited to add: its towards the bottom and called Message Editor Interface, change this to enhanced interface. Also check out the other things you can change in there such as viewing how many posts on a page, the forum default is only 10, you can change it to 40. HTH

Thanks edinburghlass I've finally got it! I was looking in the control panel on my pc, not on mse! :o I did mention that technology and I don't really get along!

Have to agree with you here Valiant. As far as most of the Argos followers are concerned Stumpy is the "keeper of the lists" via the Lowes Family website which was done for the MSE users and not for commercial gain.

I don't know if anyones already posted this one, its just too long to read through now !

However, just spotted on another forum that Argos have Sky+ boxes listed at £49.99, which is an exceptionaly good price if your lucky enough to have any in your area.
Aparantly you get just the remote in the box, and when you get home you contact sky, who will come and install the box to go with it (and dish etc if not already there). As I understand it, its free install for new customers, but £60 for existing loyal sky customers.

No the Price is From £99.99 (£49.99 &balance payable to Sky)

If you buy a Widescreen TV over £199.99, Sky Plus is £99.99 (New Subscribers, Free Install)

If you Don't buy a TV the Price is £149.99 (New Subscribers, Free Install)

    & Existing Customers pay £199.99 + £60 Installation.

Plus on any of the above you have to subscribe to Sky and take 2 Premium channels or pay £10 a month if you don't take 2 Sky premium channels.

Just went back for another look.....It definitely says £49.99 with no mention of any further payment other than install fee, and no mention of having to buy a TV ?????
Its still not quite as good a deal as the offer I got (from here) about a year ago though, which was £99 + £1 install.

It would be interesting to get some feedback from LetZshop, their site has no 'about us' page, no 'Contact Us' details and the terms and conditions link leads nowhere.

Legally, IF letZshop is a limited company, then they are obliged to make this fact clear on their website and post their company number and registered office address too. If they're a sole trader then they are obliged to show the name of the owner.
Life should be a little nuts; otherwise it's just a bunch of Thursdays strung together.

"Keeper of the Lists" - Cool!! cool.gif

I must admit, I've been floating around since yesterday, all confused, cos the Argos Thread seemed to have changed from Friday - a few posts are missing (and didn't they start a new thread which has disappeared?!) and then suddenly, someones taken over me job!! eek.gif

Couldn't believe that, on the weekend the forums went down, Argos decided to stick some RO stuff on their website!! Got all excited, and no-one to share with redface.gif

Anyway, I've calmed down now, and have even worked out how to reply to posts - all I need now is Garfield, and I'll feel much better.

Edit: My Sig doesn't work very well though!!
