  • Tried without success to get the Sony Headphones (5340129) yesterday in Watford. They told me the new RO list was coming out on 21st.

Will we have a sneak at this beforehand or will we have to wait until the day?

OK u lot, (Ren&StimpyRo & Stumpy ) a mystery to solve. as the happy event MSE RO2 approaches Argos has had the last flyer (black edged) before 22nd catalogue launch. In it are a few bargains, plus a sort of Xmas RO ;) (75% off)

Dont usually post till I have the goodies in my possesion, but on this I give up ::)
One item that caught my eye, was "Turn your house into Blackpool, next year".
Early this week when the flyer appeared, I started to search where to get one, website said sku did not exist :'(, but on Wednesday it suddenly appeared, but with NO stock that me or customer services could find.
So are they on a delivery lorry, or was there only one in captivity? Why print the offer if they dont exist, customer services think they never did.

I'm sure u lot know better, give us a clue.

    Scattycat ;)

Well, I've had a look in the north east area, both for store pick up and home delivery, and its coming up as "out of stock" for both. I've clicked the e-mail notification, so see what happens. Very strange though.
    Stumpy,

5340129 sony headphones confirmed at £5 as well.

    Cheers,

    Updated - thanks.
Don't worry stumpy, Traf had to show me what to do one day. ;)

    I'll pm you.

Hey hey - look what I'm doing!! Thanks for that :-*

Stumpy...when you find out how to do it....please let me know too ;)

    Hesjane

You make it sound soooo easy! ;D It didn't seem to like "nesting" quotes, so took me a while to figure out where the start and end quotes were going, but got there in the end. Then nearly kicked the computer when it said Hesjane didn't exist. >:( Turned out its a bit picky about capitals :-/

Oh - forgot to say - just had an excellent suggestion from Mincer (thanks!!) - if you want to know the branch number for an argos, your best bet is BT's online directory enquiries - details are now on the Help page of the RO2005 website. 8)
  • I think Edingborough will be a bit far for me, as I've never been there I can only assume its further north than sheffield. Always assumed hit the north sea after that so must be on an oil rig ::) . So feel free to have sprouts if u like . Seems a large percentage from Scotland on this thread. Are there any more midlanders?....... or I'm sure the edingborough meet would be much more practical in the midlands .
ooops im way of topic (no change there then ) Token on topic ish bit . The car park still looks realy busy at the clearence place in corby when i go past! not been in lately tho incase i spend some more money!

Shame Mark that is too far for you to come to EDINBURGH as we hope to do a swap shop of freebies etc and having used my pink tree from ARGOS for two years running, I was saving it especially for you :-*

(even more worrying I have had a pm from someone concerned he will be forced to eat the dreaded brussels sprouts for lunch ;))
  • Lol @ MarkR you daft begger! ;D ;D ;D

    Repeat after me edinburghlass...........

I do NOT need another phone!

Thanks for the tip rasan. ;D

Tell that to my daughter Aliasojo, and just think of the video clips we could send you on 30th January

Just noticed EDINBURGH is spelt wrong in my AAroad atlas too ( on one of the unused pages! thats most of em except 40 41 and 42.... ) I always thought it was Edingborough thats how its pronounced isnt it? Shame its so far; and what a realy kind gesture to offer me a pink tree too, such a shame its too far to pick it up ::) . I think Market HarBURGH , DesBURGH or WellingBURGH would be ideal places for a scottish meeting .
Also tried another argos for Aliasojos inflatables, alas was outa stock too ::)
Nope.... Still cant think of owt interesting to put here.
