had a letter from nuage art saying i had won a prize of £3,500 and a holiday to grand caymen. so i called the free phone number and left a message. a man called paul simon (he wasnt quite sure of his own name) returned my call and said if i bought a piece of art for £450 i would be sent in return a brand new ford focus car to the value of $12000 and a holiday to the grand caymen. Do you think this could be a new scam !!!!!!. because I do and there is no way i will be buying a piece of art from them. also just to note the name and number changes but i think the address for this scam stays the same. so if you receive anything with this address it is a scam

  • I recently recieved a phone call saying that I had won a LG TV, stand and DVD player from entering a competition months ago. The Tv was delivered the same day, and is in working order etc, however we did not sign for anything and recieved no receipt or anything to confirm we had won or owned the tv. So now we are sat at home watching our TV.

I just think that it is very suspicious that we recieved the phone call to a competition we had no recollection of winning, has anyone heard of any scams like this, as it seems too good to be true.

I've been getting those and more every day for a few months now. I think its from a dodgy comp that we must have entered but don't know which one.
I just report them as junk straight away and NEVER open them!

    NOW IN COMPING SEMI-RETIREMENT! :D

For the past3/4 days I've been getting ones from 'ADSA', yesterday I had 15 through inside 5minutes as I was checking my mail! - a total of 79 yesterday alone.

They are a pain, but I just delete them without opening.

Although fingers crossed I haven't had any today - perhaps they are having a rest!

I've been getting those ones josie301 - I opened one and scrolled right down to the bottom and there was an 'unsubscribe' link. I've done that today, so hope at least some will stop.

I've noticed that this last few days I've been getting more and more!

Oh dear that isn't always the best thing to do Gilla. Some of the less reputable companies just send you more once they know it's a valid monitored address :(
