OOPS to the banking..that's something that I'd probably do...I really don't understand standing orders and transfers very much or at all really!!!
I've never used a standing order..am a bit scared.
Managed to set up a tranfer ok the other day but I had to try a couple of times...must be thick me..lol

on line transfers???
i do all my banking online....and sometimes you fill everything in and it then tells you it timed out:mad:
but i can pay any bill or cc from any of my 5 accounts,,,,which is handy cus sometimes a bill gets payed by a litte bit from each one,,
also if i do 3 transaction a month i get free banking for that quater :j
so if nothings going on i move €10 from one acc to another for a few dayss,,,
most transfers take 3-5 days ..land lords takes 6-7.
except my bank to my bank which are instant

I must have a number disorder thing, i must have checked the damn thing three of four times.:mad: It was only when it said do you want to make a payment now- i stupidly pressed yes:o:o:odumb or what? Oh well. I only did it so i can make overpayments and not get charged with those 08071 nos- i did look for alternatives and i signed up for free 0807 nos- they sneakily add the 1 onto it so get charged 10p a min through their unhelpful automated system. It cost me today ringing them to put it right- which made me madder still:mad:

I do my overpayments to Virgin by going on Virgin site and paying by debit card...lol as it's easier for me..I pay the normal by DD though.
I do wish that A+L and all the other banks would lret you pay as much as you want by FP it would be easier...it'll be a laugh seeing if the £1000 is any quicker coming back from Halifax..I called them the other day to ask how much they allow by FP...she said we can't tell you as it's random..what kind of answer is that?
