  • Well i have just started driving again today and i am shattered after a visit to Tesco's. What shopping again, i hear you say-yep, as there was nothing in after Mr.B went shopping although the beef was lovely and it has made lots of sandwiches...mmmm

I also went to help sort a friend in need out, so good deed done for the day.

Moneysaving wise i got her £226 back, me nothing- but good Karma i hope.

Am thinking of applying for another 0 % card to balance transfer some things onto so will research that and see how i go.

Have tidied, hoovered and washing out on line- DS out at work, DD out with mates, Mr.B at work..me sat with computer all to myself for 5 mins before i make tea.

Am back to Oldstyle ways with a vengenance this week.Good times-no devil will be vomiting in my kettle!!

  • Hey up as they say our way.

Sorry for lack of updates and what not, had a bit of a bad time healthwise and then computer was hogged by teenagers taking advantage..grrr!

Good news though debtwise, Mortgage has been reduced by two years in term, as we kept payments the same when it went on variable rate. To say i am well chuffed is an understatement. 10 years now...cooor!

Crapital one have finally played ball with Mr.B so he is sorted there and should be able to make massive inroads now and save up for Full and finals..yeahaay.

My car has also nearly been paid i am looking at another 4 months so that will mean one and a half years early-i was looking at this time last year-but Mr.B got in the way.

Food budget is not looking too bad this month, as we are upto £300 no more now until payday on Friday, so damage not as bad as i thought-phew.

Still have my Tesco vouchers to play with and get best possible deal there, have £23 this month ..hmmm, ponders about this as it goes against the grain to just use in store..holiday deals for next year maybe?

So that's about it really, brain still mushy-what's new there then?

Off to see if you have all been behaving. TTFN-Bob x

  • Evening all-

    Where to begin today?

Well made a bit of boo with online banking today. I decided to pay using internet banking to get ahead of myself- So sets up accounts, make the payments and on one of them miss a digit out:mad:

With the new faster payments- it went straight into their account:o Bank can't recall and i have now to fill forms in to get money credited back to account:o:o:o Bum:o

So that'll teach me to try and do the monthly payment and the PAD thing. It should only take 5 days to sort out, but i daren't make any more payments to account just in case they get confused. Beaten by technology eh?:rotfl:

Otherwise, have worked out that i can save more money on my car as some insurance will be refunded, hopefully saving me another £220:j I think that's the case, but just need to double check.

Have been full of energy today after visit to health food shop. Bought some extra strength acidopholus tabs ( good bacteria)and some extra strength fish oils as well- really does give a feel good factor as well as other benefits:rolleyes:

Result of which means a very nice day of meals and energy to bake.

One free range Chicken= roast on one day
Chicken casserole with mash and steam veg today
    Chicken soup tomorrow-nomnom

Lovely rice pud made with Soya milk and sweetened with dried fruit and cinamon for DD2( she is allergic to milk and no sugar as she is diabetic and i don't like sweetener) Was really good and demands for more off whole family:D

Tomorrow i am having a soup fest, so chicken and also am making a sweet pepper and butternut squash soup..drool. May also do a couple of loaves and a HM pizza.

DD also requested scones, so i made a mini batch of them so she could have a treat - but not too much sugar. Fatal really as we want to eat more than one ( three later:rolleyes:) But they are small- honest:o:rotfl:

Determined not to spend until payday, except for milk and cheese( Mr.B goes through a lot)

Off to have a catch up-sedately, as will leave flashing to Shaun-WATCH OUT GIRLS.;):p:rotfl:
