  • Same here, I moved into my house on 19th December on my own with a new baby and three bedrooms worth of stuff to unpack. Put her to bed and worked through the night to get it done by the next morning, including kitchen, bathrooms, etc. You CAN do it!

Tried to post last night, but the site was having problems so lost i all.
Havent time this morning, just off to the busstop with DS and then to the costalotta for half an hour before DGD nursery at 8am

There were 2 emails from the estate agents I came across just before I went to bed, (hadnt checked my email in the day) and they are viewing today at 3pm. Typically we are a bomb site, so my day off is sorting out the house, sorting out the council and other tiresome tasks.

Molly is in hospital again, waiting or a lumber puncture today.
All my thoughts are with her, and I hope if all of my followers could spend a moment to wish her well, we might collectively succeed.
Hugs Molly, my prayers are with you. We are intouch my text. So I will let you know when/if she comes home.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.
  • Molly, stay strong! We're thinking of you :-)

Be well Molly, I'm sending a bundle of positive energy down to you. I hope it helps :)

Just want to add that I agree with queen of string. DGD won't care if the house if full of boxes, as long as some of them are for her to unwrap. There is no use working yourself into the ground trying to create the perfect Christmas, there is no such beast. All you can do is make sure that you enjoy your day. DS and DGD will pick up on that and enjoy their day as well.
Sorry I haven't replied for a while, life has gotten chaotic here again. Take care xxxxx

Molly had a reasonable night. Still waiting for the next tests.

I have to go to the council over my benefits as they are working on the wrong figures. So once more, i will have to pay back thngs. Oops. I forgot to tell them my Tax Credits had gone up on the last review when DS went back to college in september. Looks like I may not get any Housing Benefit anymore..
Oh well, I am used to ups and downs in the finances. Thought I had a bit of money for a change! O:D:o

Housework, as the place is a mess and viewing is this afternoon.
Give myself 20 minute dash, in each room. See how that pans out.
Depending on my arm. Of course.

  • Hope Molly is feeling well agin soon , so she can go visit Mooloo in her new home

Mooloo - good luck tidying and with the council.

I have never heard of owners showing prospective tenants around whilst the house is occupied , normally they wait for an empty shell then clean/decorate it ready for display around here at least

I have had to show my home the last 3 houses that i have rented. its horrible but i suppose they need the rental asap. good job my tenancy asked for two months notice or w would be in limbo by now.
we are looking at around 2 weeks till we get the keys now. and then i will need to get the curtain rails up as its big windows and close to the road. Then hopefully we can get carpets in.
