Mooloo, are you in a position to ring them as frequently as you can manage? I found that when I was owed money, it was my mithering that eventually paid off - I think they were glad to chase it up at their end to stop the phone calls! I was on really good terms with my caseworker by the time she got all my money paid out for me!

How are you feeling today? Did anything come of the Freecycle enquiry?

While I was in Tesco this morning, the lovely lady from the CSA rang me and asked me if I had received any payements, as they have released funds to me, and now they have overpaid me by £520. The calculations that they have made back to the beginning of the case, shows that they have made mistakes. No kidding.!! So when the money clears, I will be giving back over half of it! Except I cannot get hold of it until Mum gets back, as its gone into her bank. So I said they had to send me a copy of all the transactions for me to double check them. I also said I havent got the means to pay it back as I havent actually got it. She said dont worry about it too much, if you cant pay it back you cant?????? Its all right for her to say that, but since I stopped work i am getting deeper and deeper back into debt, and poverty is just around the corner. (Or is it actually here, once I cant rob peter to pay paul?).

:o:rolleyes::eek: and anymore that might be appropriate symbols.

Isn't the CSA the work of the devil ! Does it ever manage to get things right ?

I can't remember if it's been suggested in your previous threa, but do you feel it's time you threw yourself on the mercy of a Debt Advisor at the CAB. You've been struggling to manage for such a long time now and things do seem to be getting worse.

There's no shame in admitting it's all got beyond you, quite the reverse, and if DS job doesn't happen he'll only have a maximum of £30 a week if he goes to college and that will have to cover his petrol and keep.

I may have to go back to them, but I am so annoyed. The debts are really debts that belong to all of us. As we were all supposed to share the bills from the other house. Without keeping the kids, I would not be in any debt. (Oh and the CSA had given me the money sooner it might have made life a little easier.). Along with Ex husband giving the money for DS's bike, as promised. Not!!!!
I am just paranoid that things are getting harder and harder.
Tomorrow I will be seeing about the back to work targets, etc,. Maybe they can find something I could do. Especially now that I am hoping to have more of my faculties about me once the antidepressants have worn off, and the other medication reduced. !
Tomorrow is the start of a new chapter in my life. Another year down the line, and perhaps my luck with change with the day.

I may have to go back to them,

I think that would be a very wise decision. What's happened, has happened and the clock can't be turned back.
I think you're being realistic, not paranoid, things are getting harder for you and might be easier to bear if you had someone on your side fighting your corner with you, like the CAB.

I agree with Errata about the CAB.

And maybe you could write a letter to your ex, stating what you understood had been agreed and clarifying what has & has not been stuck to. You don't need to send it if you feel it may aggravate things, but to write it down may help the CAB to assist in unravelling the problems that have been caused as a result of him not paying his part of the agreed monies.

How's the garden coming on? Don't be doing too much today, you don't want to be worn out by weeding if your BF is coming over! ;):p

    Have a fab day :)
