Maybe a part time job will give you a focus and new friends. Sounds like you need something that isn't going to involve any heavy lifting etc though. Hopefully your back to work interview will come up with something. x

Trying to get myself back into a positive mode. Watching TV now. Managed t keep it off for several hours, and use DS's music centre. But I only have 3 CD's to my name.
As I am only taking the bare minimum of my tablets, so that I can drive tomorrow, my head is less woolly etc, but my arm is "dead" on me. Typing is getting harder o do. Keep missing letters out.
Problem with that is that I will struggle to actually do anything now!!
    Ah well.
Reading so many other peoples problems makes me realise that I usually manage to rise out of the problems, so I will try and remain upbeat and look for the positive.
If it only me, I dont have to stand on ceremony, and can eat what I want for tea etc. Watch what I want on the TV, and go to bed when I want to.
    See positive.

I made myself go out into the garden, to attack somemore of the weeds. The man next door came back from work, and I braved to call out to him, and said, "I think I need you advice on the weeds" (He runs a weed control business-Iwasnt trying o chat himup). He was very nice and within ten minutes he had come back and sprayed the other "allotment" part of the garden that bindweed had taken over. He has said that he will keep an eye on it for me. But that bindweed once it takes a hold is very difficult to get rid off.
But at least it will be easier to clear soon.
I picked my few green beens, and two of my carrots for my dinner, so they are cooking now. Yesterday I had taken out a small beef joint expecting DS to be here for tea, so I cooked it earlier. Means am going to have a very nice dinner in the end. Beef, carrots, beans and potatoes. Not what I would normally have done for myself. But waste not want not, and my garden was being attacked by slugs.

I've just read back over the last couple of pages......

Mooloo, are you in a position to ring them as frequently as you can manage? I found that when I was owed money, it was my mithering that eventually paid off - I think they were glad to chase it up at their end to stop the phone calls! I was on really good terms with my caseworker by the time she got all my money paid out for me!

How are you feeling today? Did anything come of the Freecycle enquiry?

Hopefully you will start to feel a little less isolated now you have made contact with some of the neighbours? Even just a wave or a quick hello in passing can be good for morale and give a feeling of settling-in a bit :)

P.S. How were the home-grown veggies?

The veggies were like a small taste from heaven. Pitty the beef was a bit tough!.
Managed 3 sessions of weeding yesterday, so am proud of the amount of garden I managed to do. Looking forward to the weedkiller working on the rest.
I shall chase up the CSA when I get back from the doctors, after my accupuncture. Its at 8am today, so I only have a few minutes and I will have to g.
Didnt take my tablets so that I can drive.! So am in a bit of pain instead. But at least I can think clearer!! mmm is that a good thing (well it is for the driving of course!).
Better go. Am first patient of the day.
    Catch everyone later.
PS. Its raining today, just as well I did the garden yesterday!.

Birthday cards from my Mum and Dad, (In France), and my brother. Who I hardly ever hear from.
Spoke to the doctor, instead of having my accupuncture, and we are reducing my gabapentin, and taking me off of the anti-depressants. Hopefully I will be less vague now.
Took twin2 and hr BF to her scan. He didnt want to go in so I got to go in.
Baby is further on then expected, and is due 14th January. So she is nearly 15 weeks not 12.
Did a shop at Tesco, and overspent! (ON me). I bought a new set of weighing scales, that are more sturdy then my others, but also meant they were £13 less a penny or two.
When I got back, I had an email to say that I could have some pictures/frames that I had enquired about from Freecycle. So I went back out to collect them.
Am totally shattered now. Between doctors and Twins doctors I also was sorting out bags and boxes at my mums house by 8.30.
I think that I shall be having an early night, as I have another earlyish morning with the back to work interview. Then I can come home and relax and enjoy my birthday. BF is coming over tomorrow evening.
