Mooloo, please will you go back to your GP & show them what you have just written? I think you need them to help you get through this phase, whether with pills and / or counselling.

....The other thing I wondered is if you have contacted your local councillor to make them aware of the situation. They are your elected representative on the council and therefore should be accountable to you for the services you are (not) receiving from Social Services.

A letter of complaint to your councillor about Social Services, copied to the Head of SS, might possibly lead to SS getting a kick up the a** from a high level when their failings are made known to those outside their department. You should be able to get the name and contact info for your local councillor off the internet or by ringing the council.

Further back in the thread, you will see that Mooloo has done all of these things, as well as involving her MP, but has not had a great deal of response. Due to her having her hands extremely full and other crises cropping up with her family, she does not always have the time or resource to chase these things up.

Mooloo please do not feel embarrassed about falling apart all over Mrs Rev. It may not be what she's paid for (in that generally they're not paid!) but I'm sure it's not the first time someone has done this to her, nor will it be the last. And I'm sure it did you good.

It sounds like you've hit rock bottom and are running on empty. I, and others, have suggested counselling to you before this. Now Mrs Vicar knows the situation, why not ring the Vicar and ask him to visit you ? Vicars are pretty good counsellors; he could come to you; he could visit you at a time that's convenient to you both and continue to visit you.
If you don't feel you could do this, please please try and accept that you've reached the point where you have to do something ? From what I can see, not doing anything won't mean things will stay the same, it will mean they can quickly get worse.
You write 'I should be happy today' Why should you ? Do you think anyone in your situation would be ? I can't think of one single thing right now that you could be happy about.
When you read your post I hope you can see that what you've written is help me, help me, help me. You do need help, but you have to tell people who will listen - your GP, the vicar - that you need their help. They can't read what you've written or read your mind, but they are in a position to help.
Hope you met up with Molly and had some time out with her.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

Oh Mooloo, my heart goes out to you sweetheart. I think Errata has made some very valid points and I'm in full agreement. Please, please make an appt to go and see your GP and print out the post you've made above to show him/her. You can't go on like this any longer. Take care ((hug)) xxx

Hopefully Mooloo you are feeling a bit calmer now. We spent the afternoon talking and I hope that in some small way there is a way forward. I think there is. Good luck tomorrow my friend - I will be thinking of you. Hugs x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Mooloo, I've been thinking. Is there anything that we can do for you to help? I'm thinking maybe letter writing, or sending you things that you maybe need for DGD etc? Things are tough for a lot of us at the moment, but I am sure that we can do something to relieve the stress and pressure on you. x
